This standard applies to the wire of aluminum and aluminum alloys for products produced by cold heading, designed for the needs of national economy and for export.

1. ASSORTMENT
1.1. The wire is subdivided in precision manufacturing:
normal accuracy;
high accuracy — P.
1.2. The diameter of the wire and limit deviation shall be as specified in table.1.

Note. The party allowed no more than 10% (by weight) of wire with a mass cut at least 4 kg.
1.5. The roundness of the wire must not exceed the limit deviation for diameter.
1.6. Theoretical weight of 1000 m of wire calculated for normal and high accuracy with a nominal diameter with subtraction of the half of the maximum deviations.
When defining a theoretical weight of 1000 m of wire for a source value accepted density of aluminum alloys D1P, B65, equal of 2.80 g/cm.
To calculate the theoretical weight of 1000 m of wire from other brands should use the conversion factors listed in Annex 1.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Wire produced in accordance with the requirements of this standard in accordance with technical documentation approved in the established order. Wire made of aluminum brand AD1 and aluminium alloys AMTS, Amg2, Amg5p, D1P, D16P, D18, V65 with the chemical composition according to GOST 4784.

2.2. Wire is manufactured in cold-worked condition.
2.3. Shear strength of wire shall be those specified in table.3.

Note. By agreement with the consumer it is allowed manufacture of wire of alloy grade V65 diameter from 7.8 to 10.0 mm with shear strength not less than 235 MPa (24,0 kgf/mm).

2.4. Mechanical properties of wire with a diameter of 12 mm alloy D1P in the hardened and aged condition shall be: ultimate tensile strength not less than 370 MPa (38 kgf/mm), elongation not less than 12%.

2.5. The surface of the wire should not have cracks, delamination, captured, bubbles, sunsets, nicks, burrs, sharp bends and corrosion spots.
2.6. On the surface of the wire allowed scratches, traces of broach (risks), punctures, dents, and abrasion, if the test mopping them does not show a wire for the limit deviations of the diameter and the depth of Stripping is less than half the maximum deviations in diameter.
2.7. On the surface of the wire allowed the color of a tint, dark and light spots without roughness.

2.8. Allowed local gentle Stripping the wire, if it does not display the size of the wire for the negative maximum deviations.
2.9. The wire shall withstand the test rasklepyvajut to obtain a flat head with a height of 0.5of the nominal diameter of the wire.
Flat head needs to be in terms of round or slightly oval shape. The lateral surface should be flat and smooth without cracks, tears and sunsets.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. Wire apply to the acceptance of the parties. The party should consist of wire of the same brand of aluminium or aluminium alloy, one bottoms, of the same diameter and the same precision workmanship and must be issued a document about quality that contains:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
the name of the consumer;
symbol wire;
batch number;
room Bay;
the weight of the party;
the results of the tests;
the date of shipment;
the designation of this standard.
The party can be composed of several wire heats provided that each melting should be monitored for compliance with the requirements of this standard.
3.2. To determine the chemical composition of the alloying elements and main impurities — take one Bay from the party. Other impurities are not controlled.
Allowed the manufacturer to determine the chemical composition of the aluminum or aluminum alloy on each cast.

3.3. Checking the size of each Bay is subjected to wire in at least two areas in mutually perpendicular directions.
3.4. Checking the quality of the surface subjected to each Bay of the wire.
3.5. Check the wire to cut is subjected to 10% coves of the party, but not less than one Bay from each party.
3.5. Check wire alloy D1P tensile subjected to 2% coves of the party, but not less than one Bay from each party.

3.6. To check the wire to rasklepyvajut select the number of bays specified in the table.4, but not less than one Bay from each party.

3.7. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators it is carried out re-testing at twice the sample taken from the same control coils. The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party, allowed the manufacturer to conduct routine monitoring of inlets.

4. TEST METHODS
4.1. Determination of the chemical composition of the wire, of aluminium should be carried out by chemical method according to GOST 12697.1 — GOST 12697.14 or spectral method GOST 3221; of aluminum alloys — chemical method according to GOST 25086, 11739.1 GOST — GOST 11739.24 or spectral method GOST 7727.

4.2. The measurement of the diameter of the wire is carried out with a micrometer according to GOST 6507 or other measuring instrument, to ensure the necessary measurement accuracy.

4.3. The surface of the wire inspected without the use of optical devices.
4.4. The heat treatment of the samples for testing cut and rasklepyvajut shall be as specified in Appendix 2.
4.5. Test wire shear is carried out according to OST 1 90148*.
For test from each monitored bays at both ends select one sample.

4.6. For the test wire to rasklepyvajut from each Bay controlled the two ends of a selected one sample.

4.6.1. A limit on the size of the clearance between the diameter of the holes of the fixture and the wire is installed:
not more than 0.10 mm for wire diameter up to 5.8 mm;
not more than 0,15 mm — wire with a diameter of 6.0 mm or more.
4.6.2. The height of the clamped in the fixture of the sample depending on the diameter of the wire must be:
8.0 mm — for wire diameter of 1.4 to 3.0 mm;
5.0 mm — for wire diameter SV 3.0 to 5.8 mm;
5.5 mm — for wire diameter of St 5.8 to 8.0 mm;
7.5 mm — for wire diameter of 8.0 SV to 10.0 mm.

4.6.3. The height of the protruding part of the specimen at rasklepyvajut, depending on the brand of alloy and diameter of the wire shall conform to the standards specified in table.5.

4.6.4. Deviation in height of the samples intended for testing of wire on rasklepyvajut, shall be ±5%.

4.7. Testing of mechanical properties wire tensile is carried out according to GOST 1497 with the calculated length of the sample, equal to 10 diameters of wire.

4.8. The time during which you are allowed to test in rasklepyvajut on samples of cold-worked condition, is not limited, and the samples in the quenched and aged condition is selected in accordance with Annex 3.
5. LABELING, PACKAGING AND TRANSPORTATION
5.1. Each Bay is tied into three places with wire of aluminum or aluminum alloy.
5.2. To each coil of wire shall be attached a label showing:
grade alloy;
batch number;
rooms Bay;
the wire diameter and precision manufacturing.

5.3. Temporary corrosion protection, packaging, transportation and storage — the graveyard 9.510.

5.3.1. Transport marking of packages according to GOST 14192 with the following additions:
the name of the semi-finished product, grade, lot number.
5.3.2. Coded wire intended for export, is carried out in accordance with the order of foreign trade enterprises.
