This standard applies to plates of titanium and titanium alloys, designed for the needs of national economy and for export.

1. ASSORTMENT

1.1. The thickness of slabs and limit deviations in it depending on width shall be as specified in table.1.

1.4. Plates are made of standard length with an interval of 100 mm in the range of lengths provided in the table.2.

1.5. Maximum deviations in width and length depending on the thickness of slabs shall be as specified in table.3.

1.6. Allowed in the party 20% of the plates having deviations from nominal sizes for length and width no more than 15%.

At the request of the consumer randomer in the party is not allowed.

1.7. Theoretical weight of 1 m of the slab is given in Annex 1. When determining the theoretical weight of 1 m of the plate over the original value of the nominal plate thickness and the density of titanium grades VT1−00 and VT1−0, equal to 4,50 g/cm ГОСТ 23755-79 Плиты из титана и титановых сплавов. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2, 3) .

To calculate the theoretical mass of the plates from other titanium alloys should use the conversion factors given in Appendix 2.
