Description
Thallium TL 00 is used: for the production of ingots and granules, are applied in various industries (the coolant filler is a low-temperature thermometers, and in medicine for cardiology research in the form of the nuclide, the production of metal halide lamps).

Thallium has the lowest melting temperature among all known metals and alloys (tPL = -61 °C).
Thallium and its compounds are highly toxic and belong to the 1st group. Symptoms of poisoning — damage to the nervous system, kidneys, stomach, hair loss. MPC in water for thallium 0.0001 mg/m3. MPC of thallium in air of working zone 0.01 mg/m3.
