1 Scope
This standard applies to drawn thin-walled tube of circular cross section of copper and copper alloys (brasses) used in various industries.
The standard specifies the dimensions, technical requirements, acceptance rules, methods of control and testing, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of pipes.

3 Terms and definitions
This standard applies the following terms with respective definitions:
3.1 out-of-roundness (deviation from circular shape): Difference between the largest and smallest diameter values measured in one cross section perpendicular to the axis of the tube.
3.2 raznoshennoy (thickness variation, the deviation from concentricity): the difference between the largest and smallest values of wall thickness measured in single cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the tube.
3.3 Bay: Cut product wound into a series of continuous turns.
3.4 measuring length: Specific length of the product in a live segment or the Bay that is specified in the order.
4 Assortment
4.1 the Geometric dimensions of the tubes defines an outer diameter, wall thickness and length.
4.2 nominal outside diameter and nominal wall thickness of the tubes shall be as specified in table 1.

4.5 Theoretical weight of 1 m pipe with nominal outer diameter and nominal wall thickness are given in Appendix A.
4.6 Theoretical weight of 1 m of tube with minimum and maximum wall thickness and minimum and maximum diameters are given in Appendix B.
4.7 the length of the tube produce the measured length in segments and coils.
The tube is manufactured in segments of length 1 to 3 m.
Allowed tube manufacturing in segments over a length of 3 to 4.5 m.
Allowed production of tubes in segments with length from 0.5 to 1 m in amount of not more than 10% of the party.
Tubing outer diameter to 10 mm are allowed to produce in the bays with a length of at least 10 m.
4.8 allowed to produce tube segments of random, exact or multiple lengths from 1 to 3 m. maximum deviations on length of pipes shall be plus 10 mm.
4.9 the lengths dimensional, must be supplied with an allowance for each cut to 5 mm and the limit deviation for the total length in accordance with 4.7.

5 Technical requirements
5.1 Pipe manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.
5.2 Tube made of copper grades M1, M2, M3 according to GOST 859 and brass brands l96, L63 and L68 according to GOST 15527.
Tubes for conductive products must be made of copper grades M1 and M2.
5.3 External and internal surfaces of the tubes shall be free from dirt, deep scratches and marks that control the sweep can bring the tube for the limit deviations on size. The tube should not have cracks and breaks, leaks and delamination, cavities and captured.
Allowed some small surface defects and dents with a depth of no more than 0.25 mm in an amount of not more than two per 1 m length of the tube, if when the sweep control is not output the dimensions of the tube for maximum deviations in size. Allowed tubes with dents in the amount of not more than 10% of the party.
For rigid pipes manufacturing high precision over the entire surface are not allowed local dent depth of more than 0.20 mm, no more than 2% of the tubes of the party.
On the surface of the tubes allowed the color of a tint, koltsevatost, dark spots, traces of control and Stripping.
5.4 Tube, supplied in lengths should be trimmed evenly. Cut end Squareness, mm should not exceed:
— 1 mm — for tubes with external diameter up to 10 mm;
— 2 mm — for pipes with outer diameter more than 10 mm.
5.5 Raznoshennoy should take the dimensions of the tubes for limit deviation for wall thickness.
The ovality of the tubes normal manufacturing precision wall thickness of 1/20 of the outer diameter and no longer needs to display their dimensions for tolerances for outside diameter, wall thickness less than 1/20 of the outer diameter should not exceed 0.5 mm.
The ovality of the tubing manufacturing high precision the wall thickness of 1/20 of the outer diameter and no longer needs to display the size of the tubes for half of the limit deviations for outer diameter, a wall thickness of less than 1/20 of the outer diameter should not exceed 0.25 mm.
Ovality do not install tubing in a soft condition and to tubes made in the bays.
5.6 Tube, supplied in sections must be straightened. Curvature for 1 m length of pipe shall conform to the requirements given in table 4.

The total curvature of tubes shall not exceed the product of the curvature of 1 m length for a total length of the tubes in meters.
The curvature is not set for pipes made of:
— in coils;
— in the soft condition.
5.7 Pipe is manufactured in hard and soft States with the ratio of diameter and wall thickness of not more than 20. The mechanical properties of the tubes shall conform to the requirements specified in table 5.

5.8 Pipe should be sealed.
6 acceptance Rules
6.1 Tube take parties. The party must consist of tubes of one brand of copper or copper alloy (brass), same size, same accuracy, same state of the material shall be furnished in one document about quality that contains:
is the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;
— the name of the country of manufacture;
— legal address of the manufacturer and (or) the seller;
— the symbol of the tubes;
— test results (as required);
— the batch number;
— the weight of the batch.
The mass of the party must be not more than 500 kg.
6.2 quality Control the outer surface must be subjected to each tube batch.
6.3 For quality control of internal surface of tubes of internal diameter greater than 3 mm select three tubes from each 100 kg.
Control of the inner surface of the tube inner diameter of 3 mm and less is not conducted.
6.4 For control of diameter, wall thickness, length, skew cut, raznoshennoy, curvature select the three tubes from each 100 kg.
6.5 For tensile tests (tensile strength and elongation) take three tubes from the party.
6.6 testing the tightness of select three tubes from the party. The leakproofness test carried out at the request of the consumer.
Tubing outer diameter to 12 mm and tube in coils leak tested at the factory are not subjected to.
6.7 To determine the chemical composition selected two tubes (coils) from the party. Allowed to the manufacturer of the sampling carried out by the molten metal.
6.8 If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators, with the exception of tests conducted using statistical acceptance control according to GOST 18321, it conducted a re-test of the doubled sample taken from the same batch.
The results of repeated testing are spreading to the entire party.
7 Methods of inspection and testing
7.1 Inspection of the external and internal surfaces of the tubes is carried out without the use of magnifying devices.
For inspection of the inner surface of the tubes internal diameter from 3 to 20 mm, inclusive, is made in segments or bays, from each selected tube (coils) cut one sample length not less than 150 mm Samples cut lengthwise into two parts and examine.
The inspection of the inner surface of the pipe inner diameter more than 20 mm is carried out on an illuminated screen.
7.2 Measurement of the outer diameter of the wall is carried out with a micrometer according to GOST 6507. Measurement of outer diameter is carried out in sections, located at a distance not less than the outer diameter of the ends of the tube at three points anywhere on the tube.
The measurement of the diameter of the tubes in coils are conducting at the straight ends of the tubes.
7.3 Control of wall thickness of tubes with internal diameter less than 3 mm is carried out by weighing.
To determine the mass of 1 m of pipes weigh five lengths of 200 mm each, taken from different tubes from each 100 kg batch.
To control the wall thickness of each tube selected (Bay) inner diameter 3 to 8 mm, made in segments or bays, cut samples of length not less than 150 mm, cut them lengthwise into two parts and measure with a micrometer according to GOST 6507.
The measurement of wall thickness of tubes with internal diameter exceeding 8 mm is carried out from both sides of the tube (sample) no less than 5 mm from the ends of the tube.
Allowed to control the diameter and the wall thickness of the tubes and other measuring instruments required accuracy.
7.4 the length of the tubes in segments measure measuring tape according to GOST 7502 or metal ruler according to GOST 427.
The length of the tubes in coils are guaranteed by the manufacturer.
7.5 the Curvature, the cosine of the cut and raznoshennoy measured in accordance with GOST 26877.
7.6 For tensile testing from each selected tube (the Bay) cut off one sample.
The selection and preparation of samples for tensile tests carried out according to GOST 24047.
The tensile test is carried out according to GOST 10006 for short or long longitudinal specimens.
7.7 testing the flattening of each selected tube (the Bay) cut off one sample.
Test flattening is carried out according to GOST 8695.
7.8 Test tubes hold one of the following methods:
— eddy-current control according to the method agreed upon by the manufacturer and consumer;
hydraulic pressure from 4.5 to 5.5 MPa (50 kgf/cm) for 10 s according to GOST 3845;
— pneumatic pressure from 0.65 to 0.80 MPa (7−8 kgf/cm) for 5 s in a tub filled with water, with no leakage of air from the tube.
Test method for tightness chosen by the manufacturer.
Testing hydraulic and pneumatic pressure is designed to determine the defects of the tube wall and should not be considered as tests of strength or allowable working pressure.
7.9 For the analysis of the chemical composition of each selected tube (coils) cut one sample.
Sampling for chemical analysis is carried out according to GOST 24231.
Chemical composition analysis methods is carried out according to GOST 1652.1 — 1652.13 GOST, GOST 9716.1 — 9716.3 GOST, GOST 9717.2, GOST 9717.3, GOST 13938.11, 13938.13 GOST, GOST 31382или other test methods, providing the required accuracy.
If there is disagreement in the evaluation of chemical composition analysis methods is carried out according to GOST 1652.1 — 1652.13 GOST, GOST 13938.11, 13938.13 GOST, GOST 31382.
7.10 allowed the manufacturer to use other testing methods, providing the required accuracy. If there is disagreement in the definition of indicators monitoring is carried out by methods specified in this standard.
8 Packing, marking, transportation and storage
8.1 the Mass of pipes in coils should not exceed 80 kg.
Allowed the mass of pipes in coils of more than 80 kg Minimum and maximum mass bays can be set by agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer.
Tube lengths tied into bundles.
Each bundle and the Bay of tubes should be tied with wires of diameter not less than 1.2 mm or twine made of synthetic materials no less than two turns, and in at least two places — for the beam in three places evenly — bays so as to prevent mutual displacement of the tubes. The ends of the wire fastened by twisting not less than five turns.
8.2 the Packaging must ensure the safety of the tubes.
As containers and packaging materials you can use:
— boxes of GOST 2991, GOST 10198, lined inside by a paper according to GOST 9569;
— wooden crates according to GOST 12082;
containers according to the GOST 15102, GOST 22225;
— steel wire according to GOST 3282;
— steel tape according to GOST 3560.
Allowed other types of packaging and packaging materials to ensure the safety of pipes during transportation, according to the normative documents.
8.3 Packaging tubes, sent to the far North regions and equated areas according to GOST 15846.
8.4 packages should be generated in the transport packets.
Dimensions of packages — according to GOST 24597.
The means of fastening in transport packages — according to GOST 21650.
Maximum permissible mass of cargo room — 5000 kg.
When transporting in boxcars, the mass of the package shall not exceed 1250 kg.
Packaging is carried out on pallets according to GOST 9557 or without pallets using bars section not less than 50x50 mm with tying wire with diameter at least 3 mm or tape size 0,3x30 mm or using a sling also packageable. The ends of the wrapping wire fasten twist of five turns, the tape is in the castle.
8.5 In each container or in one of the drawers of the container must be nested packing list, which must include:
is the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;
— the name of the country of manufacture;
— legal address of the manufacturer and (or) the seller;
— the symbol of tubes or alloy grade, the size of the tubes, precision manufacturing, the condition of the material, the designation of this standard;
— the batch number;
stamp of technical control or the technical controller;
— the date of manufacture.
8.6 each beam (Bay) tubes shall be attached a label showing:
— trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;
— the legend of the tubes, or grade of alloy, the dimensions of the tube, precision of manufacture, condition of material, designation of the present standard;
— batch number;
the stamp of the technical control rooms or technical controller.
8.7 Transport marking under GOST 14192.
8.8 Tube transporterowych all types of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this species.
8.9 Pipe should be stored indoors and shall be protected from mechanical damage, moisture and active chemical substances.
Under specified storage conditions consumer properties of the pipe during storage are not changed.
9 manufacturer’s Warranty
9.1 the Manufacturer guarantees the conformity of the pipes with the requirements of this standard if the purchaser respects the conditions for transport and storage.
9.2 the Warranty period of storage — 12 months from date of manufacture.
9.3 after the warranty period of storage of the tube prior to application must be checked for their compliance with the requirements of this standard and compliance can be used by the user to the destination.
