Preface
The objectives and principles of standardization in the Russian Federation established by the Federal law of 27 December 2002 N 184-FZ «On technical regulation», and rules for the application of national standards of the Russian Federation — GOST R 1.0−2004 «Standardization in the Russian Federation. The main provisions"
Data on standard
1 DEVELOPED by the Technical Committee for standardization TC 106 «Tsvetmetprokat», Scientific-research, project and design Institute for alloys and processing of nonferrous metals «joint-stock company «Institute tsvetmetobrabotka"
2 SUBMITTED by the Technical Committee for standardization TC 106 «Tsvetmetprokat"
3 APPROVED AND put INTO EFFECT by the Federal Agency for technical regulation and Metrology dated 14 August 2008 N 172-St
4 this standard is designed to meet the basic regulatory provisions of the regional standard EN 1254−4:1998, «copper and Copper alloys. Fittings. Part 4. Fittings, attachable by a combination of capillary soldering soft or hard solder or compression with other types of connections (EN 1254−4:1998 «Copper and copper alloys — Plumbing fittings — Part 4: Fittings combining other end connections with capillary or compression ends», NEQ)
5 INTRODUCED FOR THE FIRST TIME
Information about the changes to this standard is published in the annually issued reference index «National standards», and the text changes and amendments — in monthly indexes published information «National standards». In case of revision (replacement) or cancellation of this standard a notification will be published in a monthly information index «National standards». Relevant information, notification and lyrics are also posted in the information system of General use — on the official website of the Federal Agency for technical regulation and Metrology on the Internet
1 Scope
This standard applies to fittings-adapters from copper and copper alloys with different tips: soldering or pressing on one side and threaded on the other, intended for the connection of copper pipes manufactured according to GOST R 52318, and establishes requirements for fittings-adapters used in the systems: drinking water, hot and cold water, water (steam) heating, heating and cooling, sewage, water treatment plants and gas supply.
The standard specifies the screw connections of the ends of the fitting types and thread sizes.
2 Normative references
This standard uses the regulatory references to the following standards:
GOST R 52318−2005 Pipes of circular cross-section for water and gas. Specifications
GOST R 52922−2008 Fittings of copper and copper alloys for jointing copper pipes with capillary soldering method. Specifications

Note — When using this standard appropriate to test the effect of reference standards in the information system of General use — on the official website of the Federal Agency for technical regulation and Metrology on the Internet or published annually by the information sign «National standards» published as on January 1 of the current year and related information published monthly indexes published in the current year. If the reference standard is replaced (changed), when using this standard should be guided by replacing (amended) standard. If the reference standard is cancelled without replacement, then the situation in which the given link applies to the extent that does not affect this link.
3 Terms and definitions
This standard applies the following terms with respective definitions:
3.1 fitting: a Device in the pipeline system, designed to connect pipes together or with other components of the system.
3.2 threaded coupling: the Connection that ensures the separation of the system without violating other sections of the pipe.
The threaded connection may be: a sphere in the cone, cone to cone or cone to the radius or a flat surface with a sealant.
The constituent parts of the threaded connection must be only from one specific manufacturer.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 Materials, technical requirements, methods of inspection and testing, acceptance rules, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage shall conform to the requirements for fittings-adapters:
with end for capillary soldering in accordance with GOST R 52922;
— end for pressing according to GOST R 52948.
4.2 the threaded joint in the Assembly must withstand the maximum operating pressure for the corresponding end of the pipe. When you disconnect and reattach the threaded connection shall withstand the maximum operating pressure.
4.3 During the installation of the pipeline should be applied to the inner and outer cylindrical and conical outer threaded connections.
4.4 Internal cylindrical threaded connection shown in figures 1 and 2.
