This standard applies to the drill pipe of variable cross section of aluminum alloys manufactured by hot pressing.
Permitted 1 January 1992 to manufacture pipes in accordance with the application.

1. CLASSIFICATION
1.1. The pipes are divided
in the form section:
TB with the inner end thickening (wingtips), damn.1;
TBP with the inner end thickening (endings) and protective thickening, damn.2;
by kind of production:
no cut thread, damn.1, 2;
with the cut right-hand thread and screwed with steel locks, damn it.3;
mind strength:
normal strength;
high tensile strength PP;
accuracy of manufacturing of wall thickness of the main section:
normal accuracy;
high accuracy — P.

2. ASSORTMENT
2.1. Dimensions of tubes with internal end studs manufactured without threads, and maximum deviations thereon shall be as specified in the hell.1 and in table.1.

2.4. By agreement with the consumer allowed to manufacture pipes with dimensions listed in table.2 and 3, without thread and without locks.
At the request of the consumer it is allowed manufacture pipes intermediate sizes outside diameter, wall thickness and length of the end and tread bulges not listed in table.1−3. The maximum deviations for the outside diameter and wall thickness are taken as the nearest smaller size.

2.5. The nominal length of the pipes without protective thickening should be:

The nominal length of pipes with protective thickening should be 12.0 m, regardless of the outer diameter.
2.5.1. Maximum deviations along the length of the pipe shall not exceed plus 150, minus 200 mm.
2.5.2. Allowed pipe extreme deviations in length no more than plus 300, minus 350 mm not more than 5% of the pipes of the party.

The drill pipe (TB) aluminum D16 alloy, quenched and naturally aged condition (T), normal strength, normal accuracy of production, with the inner end thickening, with an outer diameter of 147 mm and a wall thickness of main section 11 mm:

3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
3.1. Pipe shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard according to the drawings approved in the prescribed manner.
Pipe shall be manufactured from aluminum alloy D16 with the chemical composition according to GOST 4784−74*.

3.2. Pipe manufactured in quenched and naturally aged condition.
3.3. Mechanical properties of pipes normal to the tensile strength should conform to the standards specified in table.4.

3.5. The outer and inner surfaces of the pipes should be clean. On the surface of the pipes is not permitted sinks, cracks, delamination, non-metallic inclusions and spots of corrosion origin.
3.5.1. Not allowed films, delamination, bubbles, nicks, scrapes, scratches, scores, dents, press fitting, if the depth defined by the reference sweep exceeds the limit deviation for wall thickness.
Allowed color of a tint, the dark and white spots, and traces of the technological lubricant.
3.6. On the outer surface of the tread bulges and transitions to it are not allowed the longitudinal separation, if their depth is determined by the control sweep is greater than 2.0 mm.
3.7. Allowed at the transition from thickening to the main section of the pipe one annular baffle provided that the wall thickness and inner diameter of the pipe requirements listed in table.1−3 and in Fig.
The magnitude of the contraction should take the tube outer diameter limit deviation:
plus or minus 1.0 and 2.0 mm — for pipes with an outer diameter 54 and 64 mm;
plus minus 2.5 and 5.0 mm for all other pipes specified in the table.1−3.
3.8. The macrostructure of the pipe must be free of cracks, cavities, delamination, utain, tears and rihlat.
Allowed:
nonmetallic inclusions of a size not more than 1.0 mm in an amount of not more than three pieces;
delamination depth is not more than 1.5 mm from the outer surface and not more than 3.0 mm from the inner surface.
3.9. The microstructure of the pipe after quenching should not have traces of burnout.
3.10. Pipe manufactured without locks, should be evenly cut, place the cut on the outer surface of the pipe should be free of burrs. Cut end Squareness, mm should not exceed 7.5 mm.
3.11. Ovality and raznoshennoy pipes should not display their sizes for maximum deviations, respectively from the outside diameter and wall thickness.
3.12. The curvature of the pipe at one metre length in the middle third of the length of the pipe should not exceed 1.5 mm, and in other areas, excluding protective thickening and the transitions from the main section of the pipe to the studs — 1.3 mm.
3.13. The deviation from coaxiality and protective thickening of the main pipe section adjacent to the transitional zone length must not exceed 7 mm.

3.14. The length of the transition zones from the end thickening to the main section of the pipe and shall be not more than 300 mm from the protective thickening to the main section of pipe is not more than 1800 mm (see the devil.1, 2).
3.15. Requirements for locks shall be as specified in GOST 5286−75 or normative-technical documentation (NTD).
3.16. Requirements threads should correspond to GOST 631−75, GOST 632−80 or NTD.
3.17. The technology of manufacturing of pipes with locks must comply with NTD.
