measuring length or multiples of it — within off-gage length.

1.3. Maximum deviations on length of pipes shall not exceed +15 mm.

1.4. When calculating theoretical weight of 1 m pipe wall thickness and outer diameter are accepted at face value, and the density of magnesium alloy is equal to 1.79 g/cmГОСТ 19441-74 Трубы прессованные из магниевых сплавов. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1, 2, 3), which corresponds to the density of magnesium alloys MA2−1 and MA2−1 p. h.

To calculate the theoretical mass of pipes of alloy grade MA8 should use a transfer coefficient 0,994.

2.4. The pipes must be trimmed evenly and must not have burrs. Cut end Squareness, mm should not exceed half the tolerance on length of pipes.

2.6. Surface of the pipe should be subjected to anti-corrosion treatment (oxidation) according to normative-technical documentation.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

2.6. The outer surface of the pipe must be clean (free from contamination, hindering its inspection). Cracks, delamination, burrs, shells, various kinds of pressing, and foreign inclusions and spots of corrosion origin are not allowed.

On the outer surface of the pipe is not allowed bubbles, slivers, nicks, scratches, risks, if they control the sweep output tube for limiting the negative deviation of wall thickness.

2.7. Pipe must be straight. The deviation from straightness shall not exceed 1 mm per 1 m length. Total deviation from straightness shall not exceed the permissible deviations from straightness per 1 m of pipe length in meters.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).

2.8. Ovality and raznoshennoy pipes should not display their sizes for maximum deviations, respectively from the outside diameter and wall thickness.

2.9. To achieve the desired geometry allowed calibration of pipes after pressing or final annealing.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Pipes take by the parties. The party should consist of tubes made of an alloy of one brand, one state, one melting or heat treatment batch, the same size and decorated by one document on quality.

Allowed to make a batch of heat-treated pipes, taken from several batches of heat treatment or multiple trunks, provided that each cage or melting meet the requirements of this standard.

The document about quality should contain:

trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;

the name of the consumer;

grade and condition of the material;

the sizes of pipes;

batch number;

the weight of the party;

test results (mechanical properties indicate only the maximum and minimum values);

the date of manufacture;

the designation of this standard.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).

3.2. Monitoring external surfaces subjected every pipe twice before oxidation and after oxidation (to check the continuity of the oxide film).

(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
