This standard applies to longitudinally welded pipes from aluminum alloys.
1. CLASSIFICATION
1.1. As the tube material are divided:
without the heat treatment are marked with brand of alloy Amg2, Amg3, AMg5, D1, D16, AK6 and VD1;
cold-worked (N) — АМг2Н, АМг3Н and Д16Н;
hardened and naturally aged (T) — Д1Т and D16T.

2. ASSORTMENT
2.1. Outer diameter, wall thickness and limit deviation and theoretical weight of 1 m of pipes shall be as specified in table.1.

2.4. The length of the pipe manufacture:
random length
from 1.5 to 11.8 m — diameter 10 to 75 mm;
from 5.0 to 12.5 m with diameter over 75 to 220 mm;
gauging and multiple of gauging length within off-gage.
Allowed to manufacture pipes measuring and multiple gauge length with an interval of 100 mm.

2.4.1. Multiple pipe lengths must be manufactured taking into account an allowance of 5 mm per cut.
2.5. Maximum deviations along the length of the pipe lengths shall not exceed:
±30 mm — for pipes with outer diameter 10 to 75 mm;
±20 mm — for pipes with external diameter over 75 to 220 mm.

2.6. Theoretical weight of 1 m pipe is calculated based on nominal diameter and nominal wall thickness. When determining the theoretical weight of 1 m pipe for the source size adopted, the density of the aluminum alloy V95 stamps equal to 2.85 g/cm. To calculate the theoretical mass of other aluminum alloys should use conversion factors that are listed in the informational Annex.

3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
3.1. Pipe manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.

3.1.1. Tubes made from aluminum alloys Amg2, Amg3, AMg5, D1, D16, AK6 with the chemical composition according to GOST 4784−74 and aluminum alloy VD1 of the brand with the chemical composition according to GOST 1131−76.

3.2. Pipe made from strips by continuous welding by high frequency currents.
Product mix standard and technical requirements tape must meet the requirements of GOST 13726−78.
Note. Tube without heat treatment are made from annealed strips, tubes cold-worked condition — ribbon H1, H2, H3 work-hardened and work-hardened alloy tubes Д16Н ribbon annealed by the method of reduction.

3.3. Mechanical properties of tubes in tension shall be as specified in table.3.

Mechanical properties are ensured by the production technology.
3.4. Surface of the pipe (external and internal) must not have cracks, delamination, tears, captivity, bubble, burnout, non-metallic inclusions, spots of corrosion origin.
On the outer surface of the pipe is not allowed the presence of the longitudinal weld.
On the inner surface of pipes is not allowed the presence of a longitudinal Burr height of more than 2 mm.

3.5. On the surface of the pipes allowed:
a) metal fine sunsets, Nadira, bubbles, scratches, notches, scuff marks, fingerprints (in the form of salaminian and «Christmas trees»), nicks, if the depth does not display the thickness of the pipe wall beyond the negative limit deviation;
b) the offset edges to 10% of the nominal wall thickness;
C) color of tint, light and dark spots and stripes, koltsevatost;
d) traces of the technological lubrication and removal of the Burr;
d) prints in the form of dents with a smooth exit surface depth:
within tolerance on diameter — for pipe diameters up to 75 mm inclusive, and wall thickness of 2,0; 2,5; 3,0 mm;
not more than 1.5 mm — for pipes with a diameter up to 75 mm inclusive, and with a wall thickness of 0,5; 1,0; 1,2 and 1,5 mm;
not more than 5 mm — for pipes with diameter over 75 mm and for all thicknesses of the walls;
e) surface quality in areas removed grata should not be below 80 µm class of roughness according to GOST 2789−73. At the customer’s request surface quality in areas removed grata must conform to standards agreed upon between manufacturer and user.

3.6. Tubes should be evenly cut without deburring. Cut end Squareness, mm should not exceed 5 mm.
Deformation of the cross section at the ends of the tubes (rolling) along the length of the pipe should not exceed:
10 mm — for tubes with external diameters from 10 to 75 mm;
20 mm — for pipes with external diameter over 75 to 220 mm.

3.7. The ovality of pipes with diameter up to 75 mm inclusive shall not withdraw their dimensions limit deviations for outer diameter.
The ovality of pipes with diameter over 75 mm shall not exceed the limit deviation for diameter at a distance of 200 mm from the ends; the rest of the pipe ovality is not installed.
3.8. Raznoshennoy pipes should not display the pipe sizes for the limit deviation for wall thickness.
3.9. Curvature of 1 m of pipe length must not exceed 3 mm.
The curvature of pipes made of alloys D16 and D1 in the quenched and naturally aged condition should not exceed 2 mm per 1 m pipe length.
The total curvature should not exceed the curvature of 1 m of pipe length in metres.

3.10. The microstructure of the pipe to be quenched, must not have signs of burnout.
3.11. Pipe with a diameter of over 75mm shall be tested for tightness by hydraulic pressure GOST 3845−75 exceeding the working pressure of the pipes by 25%.
If working pressure is not specified, the pipe shall withstand a test hydraulic pressure of 20 kgf/mm(198 MPa).

3.12. Pipe with a diameter of from 10 to 75 mm inclusive, without heat treatment, to withstand the test of the distribution. The increase of the original diameter should be not less than 8%.
3.13. Welded pipes shall be subjected to 100% nondestructive control methods on the factory.
For pipe diameters up to 75 mm 100% nondestructive testing methods introduced from

4. ACCEPTANCE RULES
4.1. Pipes take by the parties. The party should consist of pipes of the same brand of alloy, one state of the material, of the same size and decorated by one document on quality.
Party heat-treated pipe shall consist of one batch heat treatment, a batch of pipes without heat treatment must be from the same heat.
The party can be composed of heat-treated pipes, taken from several batches of heat treatment, or from the pipes, without heat treatment, taken from several heats, provided that each cage or melting should be monitored for compliance with the requirements of this standard.
The document about quality should contain:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
the name of the consumer;
the symbol of the pipes;
batch number;
the weight of the party;
the results of the tests;
the date of shipment.
4.2. To determine the chemical composition of the alloying elements and main impurities take two pipes from the party. Other impurities not determined.
Allowed the manufacturer to determine the chemical composition of aluminium alloys for each cast.

4.3. Check the outer diameter of the wall thickness and curvature performed on 2% of the pipes from the party, but not less than two pipes.
4.4. Quality assurance external and internal surfaces is carried out on 2% of the pipes from the party, but not less than two pipes.
Quality assurance internal surface of pipes with a diameter of 20 mm is carried out on two pipes from the party.

4.5. To determine the mechanical properties taken away two tubes of party.
The factory-determination of mechanical properties is done periodically, at least once a month for two pipes of the party.
4.6. To check the microstructure of the pipe to be quenched, for burnout take one pipe from each heat-treatment charge.
4.7. To test for the tightness of pipes with diameter over 75 mm select 5% of the pipes from the party, but not less than two pipes.

4.8. Control on the distribution carried out at the request of the consumer for two tubes of party.
4.9. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one indicator thereon, a second test of the doubled sample taken from the same batch.
The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.
Allowed the manufacturer upon receipt of unsatisfactory results of re-inspections routine inspection of the tubes.

4.10. When controlling the surface quality of the pipes by the consumer party accept if mass of pipes that do not meet the requirements of the standard, does not exceed 3% of the pipes from the mass of the party with a mandatory replacement of a manufacturer defective pipes.
