2.2. The ovality of steel (the difference between the largest and smallest diameters) of the same section should not exceed half of the maximum deviations in diameter.
Note. By agreement with the consumer it is allowed manufacture of steel class h12 and h11 groups of the surface G and D with ovality not exceeding the limit deviation for diameter.
2.1, 2.2. (Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
2.3. At the request of the user is cut cross section (deviation from the profile of the circle) of steel with a diameter of 2 mm incl. should not exceed half of the maximum deviations in diameter, and for diameters St. 2 — mm limit deviation for diameter.
2.4. Produce steel in bars or coils. Recommended sizes and types of products depending on the finish given in the Appendix.
2.5. Bars are made the following length:
— random:
of 0.7 to 1.0 m |
- | when | diameter | from 0.2 to 0.6 mm | incl.; |

Notes:
1. Allowed to produce bars with a length of at least 0.7 m, in diameter from 0.6 to 3.0 mm and not less than 1.0 m in diameter over 3.0 mm. shortened the Number of bars should not exceed 5% of the mass of the party.
2. By agreement between manufacturer and consumer of steel with a diameter of 10 mm or more manufactures in bars up to 6 m incl.
2.6. Bars must be straight. The local curvature of bars with diameter up to 30 mm incl. should not exceed 1 m length of 0.5 mm and bars with diameter over 30 mm for groups:
G — 0.8 mm;
D — 1.0 mm.
2.7. The ends of the rods should be cut straight, without bending and deburring. At customer’s request bars with a diameter of 12 mm and more are manufactured with a chamfer on one end.

3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
3.1. Steel manufactures cold-worked or heat-treated.
3.2. Depending on qualityof of surface roughness and depth of allowable defects group set finish steel in accordance with table.2.
The surface quality of steel should be achieved by any method of removal of the surface layer (grinding, turning, roughing with subsequent polishing, running, etc.).
3.3. Decarburization of steel is not allowed.
Note. Heat-treated steel after the final surface finish can have a partial decarburization. Rules established by agreement between manufacturer and user.
