6. EDITION with Amendments No. 1, 2 approved in June 1985, November 1989 (IUS 10−85, 2−90)
This standard applies to calibrated with special surface finish rolling for the manufacture of products by cold extrusion and upsetting and hot-rolled steel (strip, wire rod) for the manufacture and calibrated with special surface finish rolling and wire.
As part of the rules of the chemical composition standard also applies to bars and billets intended for products produced by cold extrusion and upsetting.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
1. CLASSIFICATION
1.1. Rentals are divided as follows:
according to the method of fabrication:
hot-rolled,
calibrated
hot-rolled and calibrated with special surface finish;
— as material:
thermally processed (vacation or conventional annealing),
thermally treated (annealing spheroidizing) — TC
without heat treatment,
full hard (calibrated and calibrated with special surface finish) — N;
— the magnitude of the deformation under the cold sediment on the group:
to the initial specimen height — 50,
to the initial specimen height — 66,
to the initial height of the sample under test for controlling the heat-treated samples (after a holiday, the usual annealing or annealing spheroidizing) — 66 Т;
to its original height during the test for control and heat-treated (after spheroidizing annealing) and grinded samples 66И,
to the initial specimen height — 75,
to its original height during the test for control and heat-treated (after spheroidizing annealing) and grinded samples 75И;
— the quality of the surface (hot rolled steel) — groups 1 and 2.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
2. ASSORTMENT

2.2. Hire made:
— hot round and hex:
size from 5 to 7 mm — in rolls,
the size of St. 7 to 42 mm — in coils and rods,
size SV 42 mm — in bars;
— drawn round and hex:
less than 5 mm — in rolls,
size St. 5 to 40 mm — in coils and bars;
— cold-drawn hexagonal profile with the size less than 7 mm — in rolls;
— special surface finish of all the amounts specified in the table.1 — in coils and bars.
Note. Coil’s weight should be 0,03−2,1 t
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
2.3. The ends of hot-rolled bars need to be trimmed. For bars, cut into presses and shears, permitted crumpled ends. At the request of the consumer burrs on the ends of bars must be stripped.
Hot-rolled steel in coils are made without trimming the ends. At the request of the consumer the ends of skeins, designed for the landing of goods on semi-automatic and automatic equipment must be circumcised.
2.4. The ends of the calibrated rods and coils with special surface finish should be circumcised without bend and burrs. When cutting with shears allowed crushing the stub end while maintaining the size of the second dragged the end. In coordination with the consumer bars are made with a limited length of the crushed end. Dragged at the end of the allowed bands.
At the request of the consumer rental with a diameter of over 12 mm are made with chamfer on one end.
