Application
Pipes, parts of furnace fittings, heat exchangers, muffles, retorts, nozzles, exhaust manifolds, spark plug electrodes, welded apparatus and vessels of chemical engineering operating at temperatures from -196 to 600 °C in medium activity. The steel is corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant of austenitic class.

Forging temperature
Beginning temperature 1200, ending temperature 850. Sections up to 300 mm are cooled in stacks in the air.
Weldability
no restrictions. Welding method: РДС — electrodes ОЗЛ-8, ОЗЛ-12 on wires 02Х19Н9, КТС, ЭШС. The subsequent heat treatment is recommended.
