1. This standard applies to calibrated cold drawn or cold rolled steel round with a diameter from 3 to 100 mm.
2. The diameters of the steel and maximum deviations thereon shall be as specified in the drawing and in the table.1.

1. Calibrated steel, intended for cold heading, with the technical requirements according to GOST 10702−78, in addition to amounts provided table.1, must be supplied in the following sizes (diameter) in millimeters: 4,35; 4,42; 4,70; 5,27; 5,70; 7,27; 7,4; 8,94; 9,10; 9,65; 10,65; 10,72; 11,10; 11,60; 12,56; 12,90; 13,60; 14,56; 14,90; 15,60; 16,24; 16,90; 18,24; 18,90; 19,55; 20,24; 21,55; 21,90; 22,55; 22,80; 23,55; 24,90; 25,20; 25,55; 26,55; 27,40; 27,58; 28,55; 29,55; 33,25; 33,90; 34,60; 35,55; 38,93; 39,90; 44,60; 45,89.
2. The cross-sectional area and weight of 1 m of the rod is calculated based on nominal size; the density of steel is equal to 7.85 g/cm.
3. At the request of customers calibrated steel manufactures diameters not listed in table.1. Maximum deviations in this case should conform to the standards established for the nearest larger diameter.
4. At the request of customers rods with a diameter of 7.5 mm are made with extreme deviation of 0.015 mm.
3. The cross section ovality (difference between the largest and smallest diameter of the same cross section) shall not exceed the limit deviation for diameter specified in the table.1. At the request of the consumer out-of-round cross-section should not exceed half of the maximum deviations in diameter.

4. Steel with a diameter of 5 mm and above izgotavleniya rods, with a diameter of less than 5 mm izgotovleny in bars, in agreement with the consumer.
On demand of the consumer steel of diameter 25 mm inclusive shall be manufactured in reels. By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer in rolls can be manufactured of steel with a diameter of over 25 mm.
5. Depending on purpose bars are made:
— the measured length;
— multiple of gauging length;
— random length.
6. The bars are produced in length:
— from 2 to 6.5 m of quality carbon, freecutting, low alloy steel and alloy steel;
— from 1.5 to 6.5 m — from high-alloy steel.
By agreement between manufacturer and consumer is permitted to manufacture bars and rods of great lengths.
7. In the manufacture of rods of random length bars shall be allowed a length of at least 1.5 m of quality carbon, freecutting, low alloy steel and alloy steel and at least 1 m from high-alloy steel in an amount of not more than 10% of the batch weight.

9. Maximum deviations along the length of the bars exact or multiple lengths shall not be more than:
30 mm — length of bars up to 4 m;
+50 mm at length of over 4 meters bars
At the request of customers, the maximum deviations along the length of the bars exact or multiple lengths shall not exceed +10 mm.

10. The curvature of bars should not exceed the values given in table.2.

For bars with diameter up to 25 mm with a tolerance field h10 and h11 at the request of the consumer, the curvature of 1 m length should not exceed 1 mm.

11. Cut the rod must be at right angles to its longitudinal axis.
Allowable cut end Squareness, mm should not exceed:
0,2, for bars with diameter up to 15 mm;
3 mm, for bars with diameter over 15 mm to 30 mm;
5 mm, for bars with diameter over 30 mm.
12. Steel grades and specifications are established by the relevant standards.
