3 Terms and definitions
In this standard, except for the terms and definitions specified in the referenced standards, the following terms with respective definitions:
3.1 melting, melting, pouring on continuous casting machine: the Volume of steel produced at the same time in the steelmaking unit (open-hearth furnace, basic oxygen furnace or an electric furnace). In the smelting of steel in furnaces of large capacity and release it in two or more buckets, each bucket is considered as an independent melting (melting-ladle).
3.2 steel non-alloy quality: In accordance with [1]*.

* In the Russian Federation can be used by GOST R 54384−2011 (EN 10020:2000) «Steel. Definition and classification of chemical composition and grade of quality."
3.3 non-alloy special steel: In accordance with [1]*.
________________
* In the Russian Federation can be used by GOST R 54384−2011 (EN 10020:2000) «Steel. Definition and classification of chemical composition and grade of quality."
3.4 residual chemical element: a chemical element, not intentionally added, and caught in the melting of charge materials, refractories or air.
3.5 axial looseness: defect macrostructure of products made from continuous cast billets, the description is similar to the term «Pousada rihata» the graveyard 10243.

5.1.1 Mass fraction of N must not exceed:
in oxygen steel:
— no secondary treatment (BVI):
0,006% for sheet metal and strips;
0,008% — for other types of steel products.
— secondary treatment (VO) — 0,010%;
in steel produced in electric furnaces — 0,012%.
Method of smelting and processing method of steel, if not agreed when ordering, the manufacturer chooses.
Mass fraction in the steel is not regulated and not monitored, if a mass fraction is not less than 0,020% or acid is at least 0.015% or less are introduced, separately or in any combination, azotowanie elements (not more than 0.04%, — not more than 0.05%, not more than 0.05%), while the total content of azotowanie (, , , ) of elements should not exceed 0,015%. Mass fraction in steel Sotovaya elements must be specified in the instrument of quality.
5.1.2 In steel grades 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60, intended for the manufacture of patented wire, the mass fraction should be from 0.30% to 0.60%, not more than 0.15%, not more than 0.15%, not more than 0.20%, which should be specified in the order.
5.1.3 steel grades 08ps, 10ps, 15ps and 20ps designed for the manufacture of sheet metal products for cold forming allowed the reduction of the lower limit of the mass fraction of 0.25%.
5.1.4 In steel grade 08ps, intended for the manufacture of steel, allowed a decrease in the mass fraction , and less than the lower limit and the increase in the mass fraction of total to 0.07%.
5.1.5 In all grades of steel allowed a decrease in the mass fraction is below the set lower limit, subject to the application other than , deoxidants simultaneously, separately or in any combination (, , , ) in the required quantities, and subject to the fulfilment of the requirements for mechanical properties in tables 4, 5, and, if agreed in the order, the tables 9, 10, 11 of this standard, or standard for the corresponding products. Mass fraction of other deoxidizers must be specified in the document of quality.
5.1.6 In the quiet steel of all grades in table 1, designed for the manufacture of steel products according to this standard, allowed to decrease the lower limit of the mass fraction of not more than 0.20% under the prerequisite that the requirements to mechanical properties in table 4, and, if agreed in the order, the tables 9, 10, 11 of this standard. Maximum deviations in the metal at the lower limit are not allowed.
In all grades of steel in table 1, which is used for the manufacture of other types of steel products listed in the scope of this standard allowed the reduction of the lower limit of the mass fraction subject to the fulfilment of the requirements for mechanical properties prescribed in the standard for the relevant products.
5.1.7 In a calm steel, made with metal scrap, permitted residual mass fraction and not more than 0.40% each. In the document on quality indicates the actual value of mass fraction and in steel.
5.1.8 In all steel grades specified in table 1, is allowed the mass fraction of not more than 0.08%.
5.1.9 In all steel grades specified in table 2, is allowed the mass fraction of residual elements, not more than — 0,20%, to 0.15%, and 0.05%, the introduction to 0.03%.
5.2 the steel may be some variance in chemical composition from the rules given in tables 1 and 2, 5.1.1−5.1.5, 7.2.2, 7.2.4, 7.2.7, 7.2.10, 7.2.11, 7.2.17 in accordance with table 3.

4 By agreement between manufacturer and with the customer in determining the mechanical properties change the mode of heat treatment of workpieces, with a corresponding adjustment of the norms of mechanical properties. 5 is allowed before quenching carry out normalization. For steel products, intended for parts to be quenched by high frequency currents (HFC), normalizing before quenching is carried out with the consent of the customer. |
