This standard applies to round cold-worked and heat treated grinded rods of high-alloy and corrosion-resistant steel.
1. ASSORTMENT
1.1. The bars are made with a diameter of 1.0−30 mm qualitativ h9, h10 and h11, finish C, d and e, form, dimensions and limit deviations — according to GOST 14955.
Notes:
1. Rods qualitativ h7 and h8 and surface finishes Used are made by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.
2. By agreement with the consumer it is allowed manufacture of steel in coils.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. The bars are made of steel 08KH13, 12H13, 20X13, 30X13, 40X13, 15KH28, 12H18N9, 17H18N9, 12X18H9T, 12X18H10T, 14KH17N2, 09KH16N4B, 40KH10S2M, 37KH12N8G8MFB, 08H18N10, 08CR18NI10TI, 25KH13N2 with the chemical composition according to GOST 5632.
2.2. In accordance with the order the bars are made:
cold-worked condition — N;
in heat-treated:
annealed — T;
on a given error — TP.

2.3. Temporary resistance () hardened rods (N) of steel grades 12H18N9, 17H18N9, 12CR18NI10TI 12X18H9T, 08KH18N10T and 08X18H10 must comply with:
not less than 930 N/mm(95 kgf/mm) for bars sizes up to 5.0 mm;
not less than 880 N/mm(90 kgf/mm) for bars with a size of 5.0 mm or more.

2.4. Mechanical properties of bars supplied in the annealed condition (T), defined on the control and thermally treated samples or samples made from heat-treated blanks, must meet: of steel grade 37KH12N8G8MFB — requirements technical documentation approved in the established procedure, of steel other brands — the requirements of GOST 5949.

2.5. Mechanical properties of bars processed on a given strength (TA) shall meet the requirements specified in table.1.

2.7. Cold-worked bars and rods of steel grades 12H18N9, 17H18N9, 12X18H9T and 12KH18N10T with a diameter less than 5 mm to withstand at least four kinks.
2.8. Steel brands 08H18N10, 08CR18NI10TI, 12KH18N9T, 12KH18N10T 17H18N9 and should not have the tendency to intergranular corrosion.

2.9. Macrostructure of steel shall be no traces of shrinkage, delamination, foreign inclusions, blowholes and cracks visible without using the magnifying devices.
2.10. At customer’s request bars are made:
a) with narrowed limits of mechanical properties of heat-treated rods of steel grades 12H13 and 20X13 listed in table.3;
b) higher than that specified in clause 2.3, regulations of temporary resistance hardened bars;
C) a tensile test on bars of hardened steel 08KH13, 12H13, 20X13, 30X13, 40X13, 15KH28, 14KH17N2, 09Х15Н4Б, 40KH10S2M, 37KH12N8G8MFB, 25KH13N2;
g) test for intergranular corrosion steel grades not covered in paragraph 2.8.

Note. For bars with a diameter of 10 mm or more is determined by the hardness and specified in the document of quality.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. Acceptance criteria shall conform to the requirements of GOST 14955 and additional requirements specified below.
3.2. To check the quality of steel from the party taken:
a) hardness — 5%, but not less than five rods;
b) to determine the mechanical properties (tensile tests and bend) rod.

3.3. At the request of the consumer to check the chemical composition of the finished product. Sampling for chemical analysis is produced according to GOST 7565.
3.4. Macrostructure check plavochek the control of the manufacturer and the test results make a document about quality.
4. TEST METHODS
4.1. Chemical analysis were carried out according to GOST 12344, 12345 GOST — GOST 12365 and GOST 28473 or other methods providing the required accuracy.

4.2. Brinell hardness number is determined according to GOST 9012.
4.3. Tensile test bars with diameter less than 10 mm is carried out according to GOST 10446 on samples with an estimated length of 100 mm and bars with diameter 10 mm according to GOST 1497 on cylindrical samples five times the length.
From each selected control rods are selected one sample.
4.4. The test bend is carried out according to GOST 1579.

4.5. Tests for intergranular corrosion is carried out according to GOST 6032*.

4.6. Validation of the macrostructure is carried out according to GOST 10243. Allowed verification of the macrostructure of a non-destructive method.
4.7. Check the shape, size, appearance, and surface roughness of rods produced according to GOST 14955.
