This standard covers forged, hot-rolled bars and grinding hot-rolled plates of precision alloys with specified temperature coefficient of linear expansion (CTE).

1. CLASSIFICATION AND ASSORTMENT
1.1. Alloys are divided as follows:
by type of products:
bars,
leaves;
the method of manufacture of bars at:
hot-rolled,
forged,
polished;
in appearance of the edges of sheets 6 mm thick and less:
edged — 0,
unedged;
the quality of the surface polished bars into groups B, C, D, e;
depending on the CTE of alloys of 29NK and 29NK-VI:
with normal limits
with narrowed limits — 1.
1.2. Hot rods are made with a diameter or a side of a square 8−200 mm, length 0.5−6.0 m.
1.3. Forged rods are made with a diameter or a side of a square 20−200 mm, length not less than 0.5 m.
1.4. Polished rods are manufactured with a diameter of 1.0−30 mm.
1.5. Shape, dimensions and limit deviations for dimensions of hot rolled and forged bars shall conform to the requirements of GOST 2590−88*, 14−2-205−89 OST, OST 14−13−75, GOST 2591−88**, GOST 1133−71; polished bars GOST 14955−77, 4th class of accuracy.

Forged bars with a diameter or side of square of 20−40 mm produce extreme deviations plus 2.0 mm.
Allowed to produce hot-rolled round and square bars with plus deviations not exceeding the total limit deviation for diameter or side of square. Bars with a side of a square less than 100 mm is permitted to manufacture with the corners rounded with a radius not exceeding 0,15 of the square.
Hot rod needs to be cut off. Permitted crumpled ends and burrs.
Cut end Squareness, mm hot-rolled rod with a size up to 30 mm is not regulated, in excess of 30 mm should not exceed 0.1 of the diameter. Hot-rolled bars up to 40 mm with variable length is allowed to produce neobreznye ends.

1.7. Sheets with a thickness of 6.0 mm and less supply straightened with obraznymi and neobreznye edges, of a thickness of > 6.0 mm — without editing and trimming.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Bars and plates of precision alloys with specified temperature coefficient of linear expansion shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.
2.2. Rods and sheets are produced from alloys of 36N, 32NKD, 29NK, 29NK-VI, 33NK, 33NK-VI, 30NKD, 30NKD-VI, 47NKHR, 47ND, 47ND-VI, 48NKH, 38NKD, 38NKD-VI, 52N, 52N-VI, 42N, 58N-VI, 47NKH, 42NA-VI.
The chemical composition of the alloy and the gas content must match trebovaniye 10994−74.
2.1, 2.2. (Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
2.3. Bars and leaves supply without heat treatment and etching.
2.4. The surface of bars and sheets should not have cracks, flaws, rabini, rolled or uninhibited of bubbles and impurities. Allowed without Stripping defects such as scratches, scratches, fingerprints, prisoner, sunsets, if the depth does not exceed the limit deviation for diameter or thickness.

2.5. Allowed trimming of defects of bars and sheets, while the depth of Stripping shall not bring products beyond the minimum cross-section.
2.6. The surface of the ground rods must meet the requirements of GOST 14955−77 groups B, C, d, E.
2.7. The macrostructure of hot rolled, forged and polished rods should not have shrinkage, porosity, delaminations, foreign inclusions and cracks.
2.8. Temperature coefficient of linear expansion and the temperature of the inflection points defined on the heat-treated samples shall be as specified in table.2.

2.9. Bars with a diameter or a side of a square is 80 mm or less, and sheets of alloy 29NK brands, 29NK-1, 29NK-VI, 29NK-VI-1, 30NKD, 30NKD-VI should be hardy to minus 70 °C.
Customer’s request wire diameter of 8.0 mm or less, of alloy 29NK brands, 29NK-VI, 29NK-1, 29NK-VI-1 are made with cold resistance to minus 196 °C.
By agreement between manufacturer and consumer of hot-rolled sheets rods with a diameter of 8,0 to 80 mm alloy 29NK brands and 29NK-VI are made with cold resistance to minus 196 °C, it is allowed to specify the rate of the chemical composition and CTE.

2.10. At customer’s request, rods and sheets are produced:
a) determination of purity alloys non-metallic inclusions;
b) with the normal purity alloys for foloowing identified by the consumer on finished parts visually, in accordance with the requirements of GOST 5949−75;
b) determining the CTE of alloys that are not standards in table.2;
d) with a normalized flatness of the reign of the leaves.

2.11. Physical and magnetic properties of the alloys, the average values of CTE for different ranges of temperatures (from minus 100 to plus 800 °C) and the recommended modes of heat treatment are given in reference applications GOST 14080−78.
3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. Bars and plates are taking parties. The party should consist of sheets and bars one melting, one state of the metal, one size.
3.2. Rules of acceptance GOST 7566−94.
3.3. To check the quality of alloys from melting taken:
chemical analysis of the sample according to GOST 7565−81;
for determination of gas content three samples from each tenth of the melt;
to determine the temperature coefficient of linear expansion and temperature of the inflection point — one sample.
By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer to batch sheets and bars with a diameter less than 4.0 mm is attached a sample to check CTE at the consumer.

3.4. To check the quality of alloys selected from the party:
to check the frost — two bar or sheet;
to control the macrostructure of the sample according to GOST 10243−75;
to control the roughness of the polished bars — five bars;
for the control of nonmetallic inclusions of the sample according to GOST 1778−70;
to control flatness — two sheets.
3.5. Surface quality and dimensions checks at every twig and leaf party.
3.6. The temperature of the inflection point check at the request of the consumer.

3.7. The surface quality is checked visually. If there is disagreement in assessing the quality of surface flaw depth measured by the depth gauge micrometer according to GOST 7470−92 or other tool, to ensure the necessary accuracy, or determined by Stripping prior to the removal of the defect. The location of the defect cleaned with sandpaper or a file with further comparative dimension to the stripped and unstripped areas.

4. TEST METHODS
4.1. Chemical analysis of the alloys is carried out according to GOST 12344−2003, 12345−2001 GOST, GOST 12346−78, 12347−77 GOST, GOST 12348−78, 12349−83 GOST, GOST 12350−78, 12351−2003 GOST, GOST 12352−81, 12353−78 GOST, GOST 12354−81, 12355−78 GOST, GOST 12356−81, 12357−84 GOST, GOST 12358−2002, 12359−99 GOST, GOST 12360−82, 12361−2002 GOST, GOST 12362−79, 12363−79 GOST, GOST 12364−84, 12365−84 GOST, GOST and GOST 12367−85 28473−90 or other methods providing the required accuracy.
The gas content is determined according to GOST 17745−90 or other methods providing the required accuracy of the analysis.
4.2. Control of temperature coefficient of linear expansion and temperature of the inflection point is performed according to the method given in Annex 4 GOST 14080−78.

4.3. Frost resistance is determined on two samples according to the method given in Annex 5 GOST 14080−78.
4.4. Macrostructure control in two templete according to GOST 10243−75.
4.5. The diameter of rods and thickness of the sheets to check a caliper according to GOST 166−89, micrometer according to GOST 6507−90 or staples according to GOST 2216−84 in two mutually perpendicular directions in at least three places.
The length of the rods and check sheets metal ruler according to GOST 427−75.

4.6. The nonplanarity of the test according to GOST 19903−74.
4.7. The roughness of the grinding rods is controlled on five samples from different bars GOST 14955−77.
4.8. Contamination of metal non-metallic inclusions is controlled according to GOST 1778−70 method of SH1 or Ш4.
4.9. One melting alloy, passed the tests for frost resistance and the macro-structure in large cross-sections when shipped in smaller sections to these tests allowed not to.
5. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
5.1. Packing, marking, transportation and storage — by GOST 7566−94.
5.2. Long products must be in Hanks or bundles of bars, polished bars — in bundles, leaf — packs.
5.3. Bundles polished bars wrapped in waterproof paper GOST 9569−79*, GOST 8828−89, GOST 10396−84 or other normative and technical documentation, packaged in boxes of GOST 2991−85 or other normative and technical documentation developed in accordance with GOST 2991−85, lined the inside with waterproof paper GOST 8828−89 or other regulatory-technical documentation. Overall dimensions of the boxes shall not exceed 150х150х3000 mm.

By agreement with the consumer allowed bundles polished rods to wrap one or more layers of waterproof paper on 9569−79 GOST, GOST 8828−89, GOST 10396−84 or other regulatory-technical documentation and film GOST 10354−82, GOST 16272−79 or other normative and technical documentation or container holstoproshivny painting according to GOST 14253−83, non-woven cloth, stitched the flap of waste textile industry or other types of packaging materials according to normative-technical documentation, with the exception of cotton and linen fabrics. Packed in bundles must be tied with wire according to GOST 3282−74, OST 14−15−193−86 or other normative and technical documentation or tape according to GOST 3560−73, GOST 6009−74 or other normative and technical documentation, or some other way to protect the packs from unwinding.
When transporting rods by rail in small consignments packing must be in boxes according to GOST 2991−85 or other normative and technical documentation developed in accordance with GOST 2991−85.

5.4. Outer diameter of coils rolled steel should be not more than 1200 mm, internal — not less than 180 mm.
5.5. To protect ground rods against corrosion is allowed to apply tension industrial oils brands-20A, and-40A according to GOST 20799−88 with inhibitors.
5.6. Transportation must be carried out by all kinds of transport. The sheets are hot rolled and forged bars transporterowych in open and closed vehicles, polished bars — in covered vehicles.
5.7. Weight of cargo must not exceed when mechanized loading and unloading in open vehicles — 5 tons, indoor — 1250 kg.
When manually loading and unloading weight of cargo must not exceed 80 kg.
5.8. Sheets rods should be stored in warehouses at temperatures from minus 30 to plus 50 °C, relative humidity not more than 95% in the absence of air in alkaline, acidic and other aggressive contaminants.
For sanded bars storing more than 1 month to produce according to GOST 15150−69, conditions of storage 1L.
5.9. When you ship two or more packages to one of the consumer spend consolidation packages in accordance with GOST 21650−76, GOST 24597−81.
