The chemical composition of the ingots shall conform to the requirements of GOST 11069 and of this standard.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 3, 7).
2.2. On the surface of the ingots should not be slag and other foreign inclusions. Cracks wider than 1 mm must be scored. Requirements for other surface defects established by agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 7).
2.2 and 2.3. (Deleted, Rev. N 7).
2.4, 2.4.1,
2.5. Ingots of aluminium of technical purity according to GOST 11069 for the production of deformed semi-finished products is made with the ratio of the mass fraction of impurities of iron to silicon of at least 1.2:1,0. To the designation of the brand of such a metal is added the letter N, when the colored marking is added oblique stripe of the same color as the vertical stripes.
(Added, Rev. N 7).
2A. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
2A.1. Aluminium in the form of ingots of low-toxicity, fire and explosion.
2A.2. Aluminium is one of the substances of the 3rd hazard class according to GOST 12.1.007, GOST 12.1.005 and when exposed to the body is moderately dangerous substance predominantly fibrogenic action. Inhalation of fumes and dust of aluminium can affect the upper respiratory tract and lungs to get irritated mucous membranes of the nose, mouth, eyes, and also to develop eczema and dermatitis.
The maximum permissible concentration of aerosols of aluminium in workplace air (TLV) 2 mg/m.
2A.3. Aluminium in ingots, conductive, you should avoid contact of the product with the wires under voltage.
2A.4. In terms of production must comply with the rules of General and personal hygiene and safety, avoid inhalation of dust and vapors of the molten metal, contact with eyes and skin. When you work should use personal protective equipment: respirators — according to GOST 12.4.028, dust-proof clothing — 12.4.099 GOST and GOST 12.4.100, points — according to GOST 12.4.013*. To work with ingots of aluminum in paragraphs prolonged storage the use of special means of protection are required.
_______________
* On the territory of the Russian Federation acts GOST R 12.4.013−97**.
** From 1 July 2008 on the territory of the Russian Federation GOST
During remelting ingots or recycling should be ensured drying of pigs, ingots and waste aluminium before loading into the melting furnace.
2B. REQUIREMENTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
2B.1. Under normal conditions of storage and transportation of aluminium in the form of ingots and bars will not have negative impact on the environment.
2B.2. Harmful effects on the environment may occur as a result of discharges and emissions of polluting substances in the production process in emergency situations (fire, explosion, flood).
When injected aluminium in the form of ingots and ingots into water, when exposed to aggressive substances (acid, lye) possible leaching of aluminium with the formation of aluminates, which has toxic impact on flora and fauna.
2B.3. The average daily maximum permissible concentration in air of populated areas (MPC) of aluminium is not regulated, aluminum oxide (in terms of aluminum) is 0.01 mg/m.
The maximum allowable concentration of aluminium in water of water objects of drinking and cultural-domestic use (MPC) — 0.5 mg/L.
The maximum allowable concentration of aluminium in water of fishery water bodies (MPC) is 0.04 mg/L.
2B.4. Substandard products and waste must return in manufacturing (remelting).
Sec. 2A, 2B. (Added, Rev. N 7).
3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. Pig apply to the acceptance of the parties. The party should consist of ingots of one size and of aluminium to one brand, of one or more heats and be accompanied by a document about quality that contains:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
brand of aluminium;
rooms heats;
batch number;
the weight of the batch;
the results of the determination of the chemical composition of each heat;
the designation of this standard.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 3, 7).
3.2. Control of chemical composition, surface quality and internal defects subjected to three ingots from each batch of pigs weighing 15 kg, one pig from each batch of large pigs.
To control the chemical composition of the plant sampled from each heat of molten metal.
Control of internal defects of ingots is carried out at the request of the consumer.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 4, 5).
3.3. (Deleted, Rev. N 7).
3.4. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators it is carried out re-testing at twice the sample. The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
4. TEST METHODS
4.1. Control of surface quality is performed by visual inspection without the use of magnifying devices.
4.1. To check the height of the nodules of pigs, manufactured by the devil.5, as well as ingots in the form set out in GOST and GOST 9498 19437, use gauges according to GOST 162или the depth indicator according to GOST 7661−67. To check the length Nikitin use measuring metal tape measure according to GOST 7502. To check crack width is used, the probes on the other 2−034−225.
Allowed the use of other measuring tools that provide appropriate precision.
4.2. Selection and preparation of samples for the determination of chemical composition is carried out according to GOST GOST 24231или 3221. Drilling of large ingots is carried out in at least three points, evenly spaced diagonally larger surface pig, to a depth of not less than 30 mm. the diameter of the drill should be not more than 30 mm. of the point of entry of the drill should be ground to a depth of not less than 0.5 mm.
Chemical composition of aluminium is determined according to GOST 25086, 12697.1 GOST — GOST 12697.12, 3221 GOST, GOST 23189.
Allowed to analyze using other methods of equal accuracy standard.
The differences in the evaluation of the chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 25086, 12697.1 GOST — GOST 12697.12, 3221 GOST, GOST 23189.
4.1 and 4.2. (Changed edition, Rev. N 5).
4.3. Control of internal defects of ingots with a mass of 15 kg is carried out on macrosections of cross-templates pigs. Template needs to be cut out ¼−½ of the length from the end face of a pig with a thickness of 15−30 mm.
For the manufacture of macrosections template machine. The surface roughness should be not more than 20 µm according to GOST 2789.
Etched macrosections spend 10−20% sodium hydroxide solution for 10−20 min before the detection of the structure at room temperature not below 15 °C. After etching, the surface is washed thoroughly with water and bleached 25−50% nitric acid solution to remove dark plaque with subsequent washing in water. Inspection of macrolife carried out without the use of magnifying tools.
The procedure for the control of large ingots for internal defects established by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.
