Circle 9ÕÑ, sheet 9ÕÑ, strip 9ÕÑ, forging 9ÕÑ, section rolled products, including shaped: GOST 5950−73, GOST 2590−71, GOST 2591−71. Calibrated bar GOST 5950−73, GOST 7417−75, GOST 8559−75, GOST 8560−78. Grinded rod and silversilver GOST 5950−73, GOST 14955−77. Strip GOST 5950−73, GOST 4405−75. Forged and forged blanks GOST 5950−73, GOST 1133−71.
Application
Drills, reamers, taps, dies, combs, cutters, machine dies, stamps for cold work. Responsible parts which material should have high wear resistance, fatigue strength under bending, torsion, contact loading, as well as elastic properties.

Technological properties of 9ХС steel

Forging temperature
The beginning 1180, the end 800. Cooling of blanks with cross section up to 200 mm in the well.
Weldability
Not applicable for welded structures. Acceptable to CTS.
Machinability
In a hot-rolled condition at NV 221 Kυ dv.spl. = 0.90, Kυ b.st. = 0.50.
