Technological properties of 60KhG steel

Forging temperature
The beginning 1220, the end 800. Sections up to 200 mm are cooled in the pit, 201−800 mm are subjected to annealing with recrystallization and one supercooling.
Weldability
not applicable for welded structures.
Machinability
In the normalized and tempered state at HB 235−285 and σB = 670 MPa K υ dv.spl. = 0.9, Kυ b.st. = 0.75.
