Alloy of this grade refers to the type of iron-nickel alloys. It is classified as stainless, corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant and heat-resistant austenitic grade steel. It is melted in electric arc furnaces. It is used in the production of chemical welded equipment (centrifugal separators, centrifuges) operating in aggressive environments (in hydrochloric, phosphoric, sulfuric acid solutions, acetic and halocarbon acids, etc.). Sensitive elastic elements (membranes, bellows, springs) and equipment required for synthesis of acetic acid from methanol and carbon oxide, ion exchange resins, polypropylene, chemical-pharmaceuticals and other organic synthesis products are made from this alloy. The alloy is made in accordance with the following TU: 14-1-1754-76; 14-1-1214-82; 14-1-3639-83; 14-1-4042-85; 14-1-3190-81; 14-1-3528-83; 14-1-3546-83.

Processing
For stamping, rolling and forging, the initial process temperature is 1170 °C, and at the end of the process it is 900 °C. This steel is relatively easy to cut. It is welded by manual, automatic flux and shielding gas welding. During manual arc welding, OZL-37-2, OZL-17U electrodes with a wire rod are used. This type of filler material is also used for automatic arc and argon arc welding.
