Fe is the basis.
According to TU 14-1-2219-77 the chemical composition is given for steel grade Sv-10X2M. Permissible deviations from the chemical composition: carbon ± 0.010%, manganese ± 0.040%, silicon ± 0.050%, chromium ± 0.10%, molybdenum ± 0.020%. Cerium is introduced in the form of ferrocerium at a rate of 1 kg per 1 ton of liquid metal and its residual content is not determined.
According to TU 14-1-2203-77, the chemical composition is given for the welding wire of the brand Sv-10X2M. In rod, not intended for copper-clad wire, the copper content should not exceed 0.25%, and at the request of the consumer - not more than 0.20%. Cerium is introduced by calculation at 0.10%.

Technological properties

Name The value
Macrostructure and contamination In the macrostructure of wire rod, are not allowed discontinuity of the metal caused by the presence of shrinkage, axial looseness, bubbles, cracks, delamination and inclusions.
Microstructure Wire rod microstructure should be uniform. Padalka (martensitic and toostonedtocare areas) is not allowed.
Features of production The welding wire on the other 14-1-2219-77 supplied in cold-worked condition, without determining the mechanical properties.
