Description
15ХФА steel is used: for the manufacture of small parts subjected to carburizing and quenching and low tempering (gears, piston pins, camshaft rollers, plungers, copiers); tubes for plants of chemical and petrochemical plants with nominal pressure PN=19.6−98 MPa (200−1000 kgf/cm2); seamless hot-deformed pipes with improved corrosion and cold-resistance (article 15ХФА), with an outer diameter from 60 to 426 mm, strength class not less than K52, infield pipelines, transporting products of oil wells (pipelines and pressure pipelines at pressures up to 4.6 MPa, flow lines, production wells and oil-gathering system at pressures up to 6.5 MPa).
Note
The structural quality chrome vanadium steel.
Structural alloy steel of high corrosion resistance and cold-resistance.

Fe is the basis.
According to GOST 4543-71 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 15HF. For 15ХФА steel, the content in high-quality steel is regulated: P≤0,025%; S≤0.025%; Сu≤0.30%; in high-grade steel: P≤0,025%; S≤0.015%; Сu≤0.25%. In accordance with the order, the content of Si = 0.10-0.37% can be established.
According to TU 1317-006.1-593377520-2003 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 15HFA. The mass fraction of hydrogen in the steel in the metal of the pipe should not exceed 1.0 ppm (2.0 ppm in the ladle sample, niobium and titanium can be added from the calculation of the mass fraction to 0.030% and 0.010%, respectively.) In the deoxidized steel for the globularization of sulfide inclusions enter calcium (silicocalcium) or cerium from the calculation of the mass fraction of 0.050%.
