Fe is the basis.
According to GOST 10498-82 and TU 14-3-219-89 the chemical composition is given for steel 09Х18Н10Т, the content of Ti% = 5С% - 0,70%.
For steel grades 09Х18Н10Т-ВД and 09Х18Н10Т-Ш according to TU 14-3-219-89, the mass fraction of sulfur is ≤ 0.015%, phosphorus ≤ 0.025%.
According to TU 14-1-3935-85 the chemical composition is given for steel 09Х18Н10Т. The content of Ti% = 5C% is 0.70%. Metal processing is allowed up to 0.10% of the sum of the REM by calculation. The steel of electroslag and vacuum-arc remelting allowed the presence of manganese to 0.50%, and the mass fraction of sulfur should not be more than 0.015%, phosphorus - not more than 0.025%, permissible deviation from the chemical composition for carbon minus 0.010%. Mass fraction of residual elements - in accordance with GOST 5632.

Macrostructure and contamination |
In the macrostructure of billets on the other 14-1-3935-85 in the state of delivery should be free of cracks, delamination, subcortical bubbles, curled up crusts, traces of shrinkage, inclusions, visible to the naked eye. Assessment of the quality of the macrostructure of a metal are also in points. For billets of metal of all kinds of smelting the Central porosity, point heterogeneity and phase separation in the square should not exceed a score of 1.0 for each species. For pipe billets with a diameter more than 110 mm of metal open arc and vacuum-induction melting Central porosity, point heterogeneity and phase separation in the square should not exceed a score of 2.0 for each species. |
Microstructure |
In the tube blank on the other 14-1-3935-85 the content of the ferritic phase must not exceed 1.5 points, by agreement of the parties allowed 2.0 points. |
Corrosion resistance |
Tubular billet on the other 14-1-3935-85 must withstand the test of intercrystalline corrosion. |
