Description
Steel 08KH17T used: for the production of chemical equipment; products, operating in oxidizing environments and at atmospheric conditions, in addition to marine atmosphere, in which pitting corrosion; heat exchangers, pipes; welded structures, not exposed to shock loads and operate at temperatures below -20 °C; food processing equipment, Breweries, soap and light industries; as a cladding layer in the manufacture of hot-rolled dual-layer corrosion-resistant sheets.

Temperature intense scaling in air +900 °C.
Steel 08KH17T used as a substitute for steel 12KH18N9T and 12KH18N10T, for the same purpose as the steel 12X17, including for welded structures.
