Fe is the basis.
According to TU 14-1-3283-81 chemical analysis is given for steel grade AC45X. In the designation of steel letters mean: A - automatic, C - calcium. Microalloying of calcium steel is carried out by silicocalcium and other calcium alloys at the rate of introduction of 0,030-0,090% of calcium into liquid metal. The mass fraction of calcium is not determined by chemical analysis. The presence of tungsten to 0.20%, molybdenum to 0.15%, titanium to 0.030% and vanadium to 0.050% is not a defect. In the finished bars, subject to the requirements of technical specifications, deviations in chemical composition are allowed: in carbon ± 0.010%, in manganese ± 0.020%, in silicon ± 0.020%, in chromium ± 0.050%, in nickel -0.050%, in sulfur and phosphorus + 0.0050% of each.
