Description
10KH18N9L steel is used: for the manufacture of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd groups of castings of valves for the chemical industry, collectors, exhaust systems, parts, furnace fittings, plates for etching and baskets and other parts operating at temperatures up to +400 °C; the 1st, 2nd and 3rd groups casting parts of valves and actuators to it working in a slightly aggressive media and in a humid atmosphere in the absence of the requirements of resistance to intergranular corrosion, working under the working environment temperature from -253 to +600 °C without restriction of the nominal working pressure; for the manufacture of pipes tsentrobezhnolityh for the manufacture of the coils of the tubular furnace installations production of ammonia, hydrogen, ethylene, carbon disulphide, etc., operating in the temperature range 760−1060 °C and a pressure of 3.92 MPa (40 kgf/cm2); casting parts mining and metallurgical equipment; tsentrobezhnolityh pipes used as components in equipment for metallurgical, engineering, glass, ceramic, mining and processing petrochemical industry, and also intended for the manufacture of blanks and parts used in the composition of the products of aviation and the nuclear industry.
Note
Unstabilized chromium-Nickel corrosion-resistant austenitic steel, heat-resistant to +750 °C.
Steel is unstable in sulfur environments. When the content of carbon in steel is not more than 0.07% resistant against intercrystalline corrosion.

Features of heat treatment |
The steel used for the production of foundry goods, not subjected to welding is designed to work in environments do not cause intergranular corrosion. To increase the resistance against General corrosion and eliminate the tendency to intergranular corrosion and to improve the ductility of the casting material are subjected to hardening regime: heating to 1050-1100 °C, cooling in water. The holding time at the heating for hardening to products with a wall thickness up to 10 mm - 30 min, over 10 mm - 20 min + 1 min per 1 mm maximum thickness. For a more complete alignment of a structure, the annealing should be carried out with 1100 °C. |
