Description
Brass L70 is used: for the manufacture of semi-finished products (strips, sheets, bands, pipes); radiator strips; heat exchangers; parts obtained by a deep hood; drawn and cold-rolled pipes used in heat exchangers.
Note
Simple (double) brass.
Brass L70 very well deformed in a cold condition; suitable for soldering, for use on steel.

Cu is the basis.
According to GOST 15527-2004, GOST 2208-2007 the amount of other elements should be ≤ 0,20%. In brass, the mass fraction of nickel is allowed up to 0.30% due to the mass fraction of copper, which is not taken into account in the sum of other impurities. For antimagnetic brass, the mass fraction of iron should not exceed 0.030%. In brass, used for the production of condenser tubes and heat exchangers, the mass fraction of arsenic is allowed up to 0.060% due to the mass fraction of copper, which is not taken into account in the sum of other impurities.
