1. ASSORTMENT

1.1. The thickness and width of the tape and limit deviations on thickness shall be as specified in table.1.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. The tapes should be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.

2.1.1. Tape made from Nickel grades NP1, NP2, NP3, NP4 GOST 492−73 and Nomi; Np1jev; NP2JE; NK0,04; NK0,2JE; NMG; Nmg0,1; NV3; Nmg0,05v; Nmg0,08v; Nv3v; Nvmg3−0.05 V; Nvmg3−0,08; Nka0,07 at GOST 19241−80.

By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer in strips of Nickel grades NP2JE; NK0,04; NK0,2JE allowed mass fraction of zinc to 0,007%.

2.2. Tapes are made in the soft (annealed), semi-hard and hard (unannealed) condition.

Soft tape thickness of 0.15 mm and a width exceeding 60 mm are made with continuous double-sided cleaning the surface with wire brushes.

By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer of the tape thickness less than 0.15 mm are made with a continuous sweep surface with steel brushes.

By agreement between manufacturer and consumer of Nickel grades Nomi, Np1jev, NP2JE, NGOs, 2JE, Nmg0,05v, Nmg0,08v, Nv3v, Nvmg3−0,05 V, Nvmg3−0,08 to produce without totally Stripping the surface with steel brushes.

2.3. The surface of the tape must be clean, i.e. free from contamination, hinder the inspection, and smooth, without captivity, cracks, bubbles, delaminations, scale, holes, dents, scratches and sunsets.

On the surface of the tapes allowed the local risks, dents, punctures, speckles, fingerprints from the rolls, does not display the ribbon in the control sweep for half of limit deviations for thickness and color of a tint and local darkening.

Traces of unburned lubricant, the color of a tint and a local discoloration on the surface of the tape intended for the manufacture of parts of electric vacuum and semiconductor devices are not permitted.

Permitted surface quality of strips to set from the samples agreed between the consumer and manufacturer.

2.4. The tape should be trimmed evenly. Not allowed wavy, wrinkled, stabbed and torn edge and a significant Burr.

2.5. Camber strips shall not exceed 3 mm per 1 m length. At the request of the consumer made ribbon increased accuracy on camber not to exceed 2 mm per 1 m length.

Soft tipped ribbon produce only normal accuracy on camber.

2.6. The mechanical properties of tapes must meet the requirements specified in table.4.

At the request of the consumer soft strip thickness 0.20 to 0.25 mm are made with a depth of extrusion of 7.5−10 mm.

2.8. Grain size on the tapes brands NP2 and NP2JE in the soft state should be not larger than 0.05 mm.

2.9. Soft strip thickness 0,12−0,30 mm made of Nickel marks NP2 and NP2JE intended for products of the electrical industry, have to withstand not less than 10 bends during the test for inflection.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Tape take parties. The party should consist of tape, one brand of alloy, same size, same precision and same condition of material and is decorated with a single document about quality that contains:

trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;

designation strips;

batch number;

the weight of the batch;

the results of the tests;

chemical composition;

in strips of Nickel — copper and manganese;

in strips of silicon-Nickel — silicon content, copper and manganese;

in the tapes used in electronic equipment, the contents of silicon, magnesium, copper, manganese, zinc, iron, tungsten, calcium.

The weight of the batch shall be not more than 2000 kg.

3.2. To control the size, appearance, and camber belts using single-stage normal sampling plan for the alternative characteristic in accordance with GOST 18242−72 with the acceptance level of defects is 4%. The selection of rolls of tapes in the sample is carried out «blindly» (by the greatest objectivity) according to GOST 18321−73.

If the quantity does not exceed three coils, checked each roll of ribbons.

The length of the tape in a roll to select the number of measurement points in the coil is determined by the formula given in claim 4.2.

The number of monitored points in each selected coil is determined depending on the total number of parcels with a length of 0.5 m in accordance with table.7.

Selected roll of tape is considered valid if the number of measurement results that do not meet the requirements of table.1, less than the acceptance number given in table.7.

If unsatisfactory result on one of the selected coils controlled by each roll of the party.

Allowed the manufacturer to monitor each roll of the party.

Allowed the manufacturer to carry out thickness control in the production process.

On-demand user control of each roll with soft ribbons made of Nickel marks NP2 and NP2JE intended for products of electrotechnical industry. In this case, the number of controlled points per roll depending on the strip length and the acceptance number is determined in accordance with table.8.

The party is considered usable if the number of coils not satisfying the requirements of table.2, PP.2.3, 2.4 and 2.5, less than the acceptance number given in table.9.

3.3. To check tensile, bend, hood spherical dimples and the determination of the amount of grain taken four rolls from the party.

Temporary resistance is determined for strips with a thickness of 0.25 mm or more, and elongation for strips with a thickness of 0.5 mm or more.

For soft ribbons with thickness of 0.25−0.50 mm single or temporary resistance or the depth of the extrusion.

At the request of the consumer for soft ribbons with thickness of 0.25−0.50 mm to determine the tensile strength and the depth of the extrusion.

The test bend is carried out at the request of the consumer.

Determination of the grain is carried out on tapes brands NP2 and NP2JE in the soft state, in agreement with the consumer.

3.4. The chemical composition determined for the two rolls from the party.

On the manufacturer sampling for the determination of chemical composition is made during casting or ingot.

3.5. If unsatisfactory test results tapes, at least one of the performance indicators specified in the PP.3.3. and 3.4, it is carried out re-testing at twice the sample taken from the same batch.

The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. The appearance of the tape is controlled without the use of magnifying devices.

4.2. The thickness of the tape is measured with a micrometer according to GOST 6507−90, lever micrometer churchyard 4381−87 or other tool, to ensure appropriate measurement accuracy.

The thickness of the tape measure at least 10 cm from edges and not less than 100 mm from the end of the tape. The thickness of the tape width of 20 mm or less, measured in the middle of the tape.

The thickness of the strip measured at each of the selected coils in points positioned uniformly randomly along the length of the roll using the method of «blind» (maximum objectivity) according to GOST 18321−73.

4.5. Testing hood spherical dimples from each end of the selected coil cut on the same model. The test is carried out according to GOST 10510−80.

4.6. Chemical composition of feeds is determined according to GOST 13047.1−81, GOST 13047.6−81, GOST 13047.18−81, GOST 6689.1−92 — GOST 6689.22−92 and GOST 6012−78.

The tungsten content determined by gravimetric method.

To analyze the chemical composition of each selected coil cut on the same model. The selection and preparation of samples for chemical analysis is carried out according to GOST 24231−80.

4.7. The oxygen content in the ingots is determined by the procedure agreed between the consumer and the manufacturer.

4.8. To determine the amount of grain from each selected coil to cut one sample, with the plane of the cone should be parallel to the plane of rolling. Determination of the grain is carried out according to GOST 21073.1−75, GOST 21073.3−75.

4.9. Testing the bend from each of the selected rolls cut one sample. The test is carried out according to GOST 13813−68.

5. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Tape must be rolled into rolls.

In the soft coils of strips with thickness of 0.05−0.30 mm inclusive and semi-solid and solid ribbons with a thickness of 0.05−0.15 mm inclusive, must be inserted a wooden cylindrical liners with the plywood sheets on the ends. The gap between coils and liners should not be more than 10 mm.

At the request of the consumer for soft tapes with a thickness of 0.15 mm or more between the turns of tape are laid telephone paper according to GOST 3553−87 or cable paper according to GOST 645−89.

The recommended sizes of the internal diameters of the coils depending on thickness — 50, 75, 100, 120, 150, 200, 300 and 400 mm. Winding should avoid changing the shape of the coil under the action of gravity. Each roll is allowed no more than two strips, the ends of the ribbon inside the roll is marked with a tab of paper.

5.2. Each roll shall be wrapped with metal tape not less than 0,2x10 mm according to GOST 3560−73 or wire with diameter not less than 0.5 mm according to GOST 3282−74 in 2−3 threads.

5.3. Each roll of tape shall be attached a label showing:

the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;

the legend of strips;

batch number;

stamp of technical control;

the date of acceptance.

5.4. Rolls of tape needs to be wrapped in double-layered paper GOST 8828−89 or paraffined paper GOST 9569−79 or other material according to normative-technical documentation does not deteriorate the quality of packaging, and packaged in solid wooden boxes of types I, II, III according to GOST 2991−85.

5.4. Packaging of products sent to the far North and remote areas — according to GOST 15846−79, group — metals and metal products.

5.5. Weight of cargo must not exceed 80 kg.

Consolidation packages in overpacks carried out according to GOST 26663−85. The formation of packages on pallets according to GOST 9557−87 or without pallets with the use of wooden bars with dimensions not less than 50x50 mm.

The weight of packages should not exceed 1250 kg.

Transport packages must be wrapped in longitudinal and transverse directions with wire of diameter not less than 2 mm according to GOST 3282−74 with a twist of not less than five coils or tape not less than 0,3х30 mm according to GOST 3560−73, the bonding ends of the lock.

5.6. It is allowed to transport in containers according to GOST 18477−79 without packaging in boxes soft tape with a thickness of 0.80 mm or more, semi-solid and solid tape with a thickness of 0.50 mm and more, wrapped with paper GOST 8828−89 or GOST 9569−79 Packed in non-woven material according to normative-technical documentation or other material that does not deteriorate the quality of the packaging, with the exception of linen and cotton fabrics.

Tape should be laid and fastened in such a way that eliminated their movement in the container during transportation.

5.6. In one of the boxes in each container should be nested packing list which must include the data listed in paragraph 5.3.

5.7. Transport marking of packages should be performed according to GOST 14192−77 with application of manipulation sign «Protect from moisture».

5.9. Transportation of the tape is held by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this species.

5.10. The tape shall be stored in covered premises.

When storing or transporting the tape must be protected from mechanical damage, moisture and active chemical substances.

Under specified storage conditions consumer properties of tapes in storage are not changed.
