Notes:
1. Mass fraction of silicon is set as the difference between 100% and sum of impurities determined in percent.
2. Rounding the results of the analysis of silicon in tenths to define its brand is carried out in accordance with ST SEV 543.
3. In silicon, designed for the production of aluminum-silicon alloys, is allowed the mass fraction of aluminium up to 2.0% with a corresponding decrease in the mass fraction of silicon. In this case, the designation of the brand of silicon is added to the letter A. for Example: Kr1a.
4. In silicon, designed for the chemical industry, the mass fraction of titanium is not more than 0.2% with a corresponding decrease in the mass fraction of silicon.
5. By agreement with the consumer for the production of semiconductor silicon as well as for sparcely produce brand silicon Kr0 with a mass fraction of aluminum of not more than 0.3%, KR1 brand — with a mass fraction of aluminum of not more than 0.6%.
1.3. Silicon is manufactured in the form of lumps with a size from 20 to 300 mm with a permissible fraction less than 20mm not more than 10% of the batch weight.
By agreement between manufacturer and consumer manufactures silica the following fractional composition:
to 20 mm;
from 5 to 300 mm (fraction less than 5 mm — no more than 5% of the batch weight);
from 20 to 150 mm (fraction less than 20mm — not more than 20% of the batch weight);
from 2 to 70 mm (the fraction less than 2 mm — no more than 5% of the batch weight).
1.4. The surface of lumps of silicon should not contain inclusions of slag, sand and other foreign materials visible to naked eye. Darkening of the silicon surface when samartliani hot ingots, as well as the presence of tint rejection characteristics are not.
On the surface, pieces of silicon designed to produce aluminum-silicon alloys of different brands, allowed traces antiburning backfill segregated nodules, spray silicon film tint and some minor slag inclusions.
1.2 -1.4. (Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
2. ACCEPTANCE RULES
2.1. Silicon take parties. The party must consist of silicon of one or more heats of the same brand. The party issue a document about quality that contains:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
the brand of silicon;
batch number;
the weight of the batch;
the results of determining the mass fraction of the components;
the date of formation of the party;
stamp of technical control;
the designation of this standard.
The mass of the party must be not more than 75 t
2.2. To determine the mass fraction of components in silicon and its fractional composition selected spot samples from which to form the combined alloy in an amount of not less than 0.1% of the party. Each party determine the mass percent of iron, aluminum and calcium. Mass fraction of titanium in silicon, designed for the chemical industry, determined by the requirement of the user.
2.3. The surface quality control is carried out visually no less than four pieces, randomly selected from the party.
2.1−2.3. (Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
3. TEST METHODS
3.1. From the party of unpackaged silicon spot samples are taken at equal intervals of time in the process of loading, unloading or other movement of the silicon.
3.2. From the party Packed silicon spot samples are taken from each of the second cargo space. The number of sampling points shall not be less than five.
3.3. The combined sample is divided into two equal parts: one to determine the mass fraction of components in silicon and the other to determine its fractional composition.
3.4. The part of the United sample used to define a mass fraction of components in silicon, crushed to a grain size passing through a sieve with mesh N 2, 5 GOST 6613, and reduce kvantovanie to laboratory samples weighing not less than 150 g.
Laboratory test ofmagnesium and divide into two equal parts. One part is used to determine the mass fraction of components in silicon, and the other stored for 30 days from the moment of sampling in case of disagreement in quality assessment.
Further preparation of the laboratory sample is carried out according to GOST 19014.0.
3.5. Sampling may be performed by other methods that ensure a representative sample. If there is disagreement in assessing the quality of silicon samples is carried out in accordance with the PP.3.1 and 3.2 of this standard.
3.6. Mass fraction of components in silicon is determined according to GOST 19014.0 — GOST 19014.4. Allowed to analyze other methods to ensure the required accuracy of the definitions. The differences in the evaluation of the results of the analysis carried out according to GOST 19014.0 — GOST 19014.4.
3.7. The quality of the silicon surface was evaluated visually.
3.8. The maximum size of the pieces check metal ruler according to GOST 427.
The mass proportion of fine fractions is determined by sieving on a mesh of N 2 according to GOST 6613 N or 5 and 20 to GOST 5336.
Sec. 3. (Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
4. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
