1. This standard applies to silver solders for General purpose and establishes the brand of solders.
Codes of OKP brands of silver solders is given in Appendix 3.

2. Brand and chemical composition of silver solders shall be as specified in the table.
3. The approximate assignment of the silver solders are listed in Annex 1.
4. Data on melting points, density, and electrical resistivity of the silver solders is given in Appendix 2.

1. In the notation of grades of solders letters stand for: P — solder, SR — silver, CD — cadmium, C — zinc; su — antimony, M — copper, p — phosphor, O — tin, — lead. The number after the letters indicates the silver content in percent.
2. The zinc content in the alloys of the AKP and the AKP 72 50 must be not more than 0,007%.
