2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. The foil must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner, of zinc brand TSO with the chemical composition according to GOST 3640−79.

2.2. Foil surface should be clean and smooth, without the captured, bubbles, tears, dents, nicks, corrosion, and foreign debris.

On the foil are permitted waviness, small prints from rolls and isolated small holes that are visible against the light, in the absence of stroke location.

Allowed the quality of the surface to install the samples approved in the established order.

2.3. Foil must be cleaned from the technological lubricant.

Allowed on the foil traces of grease.

2.4. The foil should be wound on a sleeve with an inner diameter of 34 mm and outer diameter not exceeding 38 mm. sleeve Length should be equal to the width of foil with maximum deviation of ±1 mm.

2.5. The rewind diameter should be from 50 to 200 mm.

In coordination with the consumer the diameter of the wound roll must be not more than 150 mm.

2.6. The number of segments in the coil should be no more than four. The length of individual segments must be at least 3 m.

2.7. The foil should be trimmed evenly. The ends of the coils should not have nicks, dings and dirt.

2.8. The foil should be wound with tension, not allowing the loss of the sleeve and offset coils, and free to Mosey along the entire length of the roll.

By agreement with the consumer allowed the displacement of the coils in the ends of the roll not more than 2 mm.

2.10. The foil must be corrosion-resistant.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Foil take parties.

The party should consist of a foil of the same brand zinc, the same size and decorated the same document about quality that contains:

trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;

the symbol foil;

the results of the tests (at the request of the consumer);

batch number;

the weight of the batch.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. The surface quality control foil should be made visually without the use of magnifying devices.

4.2. The thickness of the foil is measured at a distance of not less than 100 mm from the end and not less than 10 mm from the edge of the micrometer according to GOST 6507−90. The width of the foil is measured with a metal ruler according to GOST 427−75.

4.3. For testing the foil on the corrosion resistance of each of the selected rolls select four samples of a width equal to the width of the foil, and a length of 400 mm. the Test is carried out according to the method given in the Appendix.

4.4. For testing tensile foil from each of the selected coils cut off a piece of the foil length up to 0.5 m for sample making. 4.5. Chemical analysis carried out according to GOST 19251.0−79 — GOST 19251.6−79 on a single sample taken from each roll.

Selection and preparation of samples for the determination of chemical composition is carried out according to GOST 24231−80.

Allowed chemical analysis according to GOST 17261−77.

If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 19251.0−79 — 19251.6 GOST-79.

5. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Each roll of foil width and the ends must be Packed in paraffined paper GOST 9569−79.

At the request of the consumer the rolls of foil can be Packed in polyethylene covers instead of paraffined paper GOST 9569−79.

5.2. Each roll shall be labeled indicating:

a) the trademark or of the trademark and name of the manufacturer;

b) the legend foil;

C) the batch number;

g) the stamp of technical control;

d) designation of this standard;

e) mark of the technical control of the manufacturer.

5.3. The rolls of foil should be Packed in wooden boxes type III-2 according to GOST 2991−85, inside lined with waxed paper. When packing in boxes each roll of foil is put on a wooden core, reinforced with inserts in the box. It is possible to stow rolls of foil in drawers without rods while protecting the foil from mechanical damage.

To protect the ends of rolls from scratches, nicks, scuffs and dents each roll shift cushioning material according to GOST 891−75 or GOST 7376−89.

Dimensions of boxes — GOST 21140−88 or according to normative-technical documentation approved in the established order.

Allowed the transport of zinc foil in railway containers with the laying of each row of the cushioning material.

In the sphere of automobile transport packaging zinc foil in the container of a drum type according to GOST 17065−77.

By agreement with the consumer packaging foil in consumer packaging.

5.4. Consolidation packages in overpacks shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of GOST 24597−81.

Packaging is carried out on pallets according to GOST 9557−87 or without pallets with the use of bars with a height of not less than 50 mm with strapping in the longitudinal and transverse directions with wire of diameter not less than 2 mm according to GOST 3282−74 or tape sizes not less than 0.3ГОСТ 18846-73 Фольга цинковая. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1-4)to 30 mm according to GOST 3560−73. Bond tips: twist the wire at least 5 turns, a feed — lock.

5.5. Transport marking of packages and methods of its application should be carried out according to GOST 14192−77 with application of manipulation signs «Afraid of dampness» and «Caution, fragile."

5.7. Transportation of the foil is carried out by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this species.

5.8. Zinc foil is stored in covered warehouses that protect the foil against mechanical damage, moisture and active chemical substances.

Prepared samples were washed five times by immersion into free volume of alkali, each sample is separately placed on the bottom of the glass with a capacity of 500−700 ml and cover the top glass funnel with a diameter of 55−65 mm so that the funnel sat on the bottom of the beaker, not resting on a sample.

The alkaline solution was poured (Fig.2) in a glass vessel 3 so that the upper part of the funnel glass 4 appeared under the solution, then in the burette 1, wearing a cap made of Plexiglas 2.
