Weldability Difficult weldability. The welding process is SMAW, the electrodes KTI-762. To relieve welding stresses, the recommended subsequent heat treatment. The welding in the hardened state. Welded Assembly shall be subjected to aging.
Forging temperature Beginning - 1170 °C, the end - 850 °C air Cooling.
Workability by cutting In the heat treated condition in HB 269 and blower SB=951 MPa Kn TV.SPL.=0,30 Kn b.St.=0,15.
Features of heat treatment Products and parts of chemical engineering of alloy HN35VT should termoobrabotki regime: quenching in water from 1080-1100 °C to + first aging at 850-900 °C With exposure for 10 hours and air cooling + second aging at 700 °C with an exposure of 10-50 hours and air cooling. The duration of the aging is determined by the titanium content. When the titanium content at the lower limit of 1.1-1.2% of the duration of aging of 50 hours, with a larger content of 25-40 hours. For forged rod from steel HN35VT-VD hardening should be performed at a temperature of from 1020 °C. to 1040°C.
