4 INTRODUCED FOR THE FIRST TIME
Rules for the application of this standard is established in article 26 of the Federal law from June 29, 2015 N 162-FZ «On standardization in the Russian Federation». Information about the changes to this standard is published in the annual (as of January 1 of the current year) reference index «National standards» and the official text changes and amendments — in monthly information index «National standards». In case of revision (replacement) or cancellation of this standard a notification will be published in the upcoming issue of the monthly information index «National standards». Relevant information, notification and lyrics are also posted in the information system of General use — on the official website of the Federal Agency for technical regulation and Metrology on the Internet (www.gost.ru)
Introduction
This standard was developed in connection with necessity of creation of normative base on pipe for boiler and heat exchange equipment and eliminating the supply of such pipes according to various standards improper purpose.
This standard is developed on the basis of TU 14-ZR-55−2001*"seamless steel Tubes for steam boilers and pipelines» in order to clarify the scope of the pipes, the accuracy requirements of manufacture, description of metal microstructure (scale 1−3 N) and replacement of used standard methods of flaw detection control standards, harmonized with international ones.

* The one referred to here and hereinafter, not shown. For additional information, please refer to the link. — Note the manufacturer’s database.
This standard is part of a complex of standards of tubes for boiler and heat exchange equipment.
1 Scope
This standard applies to seamless hot-deformed and cold-deformed pipes of non-alloy and alloy steels for the manufacture of boiler and heat exchange equipment and pipelines, operating under pressure of more than 6.4 MPa and at a temperature above 400 °C.
Tubes according to this standard can also be applied for manufacturing equipment and pipelines operating under pressure of more than 6.4 MPa at a temperature of 400 °C and pressure not more than 6.4 MPa at a temperature above 400 °C.
Note — In some cases, pipes under this standard can be applied to work under pressure not more than 6.4 MPa and at temperatures not above 400 °C.
