1 Scope
This standard applies to primary Nickel used in the metallurgical industry for alloying steel, alloys production and other industries.
This standard establishes requirements to the primary Nickel izgotovleniu for the needs of the national economy and exports.

3 Technical requirements
3.1 depending on the chemical composition establish the following grades of Nickel: N-0, N-1au, N-1U, N-1, N-2, N-3, N-4.
3.2 OKP Codes depending on the method of manufacture of Nickel are given in table 1.

3.3 Nickel must be made in accordance with the requirements of this standard.
Chemical composition of Nickel must conform to the standards specified in table 2.

Notes 1 By agreement with the consumer shall be allowed in the Nickel marks N-0, used for the manufacture of cobaltic alloy, the mass fraction of cobalt is not more than 0.02%; the Nickel grades N-0 and N-1U, used for the manufacture of steel and ferrous alloys, the mass fraction of iron for the brand N-0 — less than 0.003%; for the grade N-1U — not more than 0.02%; mass fraction of zinc for brand N-1U — not more than 0.001%, the brand N-1 — no more than 0,002%. 2 By agreement between manufacturer and consumer in Nickel grades N-0 and N-1au determine the actual content of manganese, aluminum, calcium, tantalum, tellurium, thallium, selenium, silver, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, boron, vanadium, zirconium, titanium, gallium, niobium and strontium on techniques, certified in the prescribed manner. 3 By agreement between manufacturer and consumer Nickel brand H-0 may contain: phosphorus — not more than 0.0005%, cadmium — not more than 0,0002%, lead — not more than 0,0002%. 4 By agreement between manufacturer and consumer Nickel brand H-3 may contain Nickel and cobalt in the amount of not less 98,7%, including cobalt — not more than 0,50%; carbon not more than 0.03%; sulfur, 0.025% copper; not more than 0.55%. 5 the Sign «-" in columns chemical composition indicates that the mixture is not regulated. |
3.4 Nickel made in the form of cathode sheets, strips and plates of arbitrary size, cut from leaves, trimmings, pellets and ingots in accordance with table 3.

3.5 the mass of the ingot should not exceed 25 kg.
3.6 the Bars should not have slag and foreign inclusions. From ingots must be removed burrs.
3.7 the Size of the cathode sheets and plates, if required, shall be specified in the order.
3.8 Edges of the cathode sheets is Nickel grades N-0, N-1au, N-1U, N-1 needs to be cropped on all four sides.
The lugs of the cathode sheets is cut along the edge of the cathode.
By agreement between manufacturer and consumer on the cathode sheets of Nickel grades N-1au, N-1U and N-1 is allowed to crop the ears only line the top edge of the cathodes completely or not cut edge.
On the cathode sheets is Nickel brand H-2 cut dendricity and spongy edges.
3.9 Trimming of the edges of the cathode sheets N-0, N-1au, N-1U, N-1 and N-2 in agreement with the consumer supply without melting as Nickel grades N-2, N-3 or N-4.
3.10 On the surface of the sheets, strips and plates of Nickel marks N-0, N-1au, N-1U and N-1 does not allow the plaque salts included in the composition of the electrolyte, and hydroxides.
On the surface of the sheets, strips or plates of Nickel grade N-2 is not allowed to RAID salts and hydroxides by more than 10% of the total surface area of the sheet, strip or plate.
For Nickel grades N-0, N-1au and N-1U growths are allowed with a maximum height of 5 mm, for the Nickel N-1 is not more than 10 mm.
On the surface of the sheets, strips or plates of Nickel marks N-0, N-1au, N-1U and N-1 are permitted the deepening of any diameter not more than 5 PCs on the area of a square with sides of 25 mm.
In the presence of the grooves is more than 5 PCs on the area of a square with sides of 25 mm the total surface area of sheet, strip or plate with grooves should not exceed 10% of the area of sheet, strip or plate for Nickel grades N-0, N-1au and N-1U and 20% of the area of sheet, strip or plate for Nickel brand H-1.
A bundle of Nickel plates grades N-0, N-1au and N-1U is not allowed.
3.11 the Presence on the surface of cathode sheets, strips and plates of all brands tint, trace edits, oil, paint, conveyor belt acceptance a sign is not.
3.12 In the party Nickel allowed the existence of cathode sheets, strips or plates with defects specified in 3.10. The total weight of such sheets, strips or plates from the batch weight should not exceed:
— 2% Nickel grades N-0, N-1au and N-1U;
— 5% «, «marks N-1;
— 10% «"" N-2.
3.13 Marking
3.13.1 On each box, the barrel, the upper sheet of the package, container or label attached to the freight location must be specified:
is a trademark or abbreviation and trademark of the manufacturer;
— name and brand of the product;
— the batch number;
room;
— the net weight;
— the gross mass;
— the designation of this standard.

3.13.2 Transport marking under GOST 14192.
3.14 Packaging
3.14.1 Cathode sheets and strip of Nickel should be generated in the packages according to GOST 21399размером no more than 1200x1200 mm or packaged in specialized containers types SC-3−1.5 and SK-1−3.4 MMU; plates of Nickel and trimmings are Packed in specialized containers types SC-3−1.5 and SK-1−3.4 MMU or tight wooden boxes of all types according to GOST 16511, except type VI, or metal drums according to GOST 13950; ingots of Nickel — specialised container types SC-3−1.5 and SK-1−3.4 MMU; Nickel granules in specialized types of containers SK-3−1.5 and SK-1−3.4 MMU, shaturnyi in wooden barrels according to GOST 8777 or metal drums according to GOST 13950.
To ensure the safety of the products allowed to use cloth inserts in containers SK-3−1.5, and also place the package in a soft cloth bag.
By agreement with the consumer allowed the packing of Nickel in containers of other types, not conceding on the strength characteristics of the above ensure the safekeeping of the products.
The gross mass of the package shall not exceed:
drums of 265 kg;
— wooden box — 80 kg;
package — according to GOST 21399.
Crates and barrels formed into packets with a maximum size of 1240х1040х1350 mm according to GOST 24597 with the use of pallets according to GOST 9078. The means of packaging — according to GOST 21650 and GOST 26663. The gross mass of the package should be not more than 1.5 T.
By agreement with the consumer when transporting by motor transport it is allowed to transport boxes with Nickel without piling.
3.14.2 Packaging, labeling and shipping documentation on a batch of Nickel for export are established by order of foreign companies or contract.
4 acceptance Rules
4.1 Nickel present to the acceptance of the parties. The party must consist of a Nickel one brand and one type of manufacture and be accompanied by a document about quality that contains:
is the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;
— name and brand of the product;
— the batch number;
— the net weight and gross party;
— date of manufacture;
— the number of seats in the party;
the results of chemical analysis or conformance of the product with the requirements of this standard;
— the designation of this standard.
4.2 Control surface is subjected to each of the cathode sheet, strip or ingot and at least 10% of the cut plates from the mass of Nickel in the party.
4.3 To check the chemical composition from batch of Nickel is uniformly selected according to the mass of not less than:
— 2% of cathode sheets, strips or plates, not less than three sheets;
— 1% of the ingots, but at least three bars;
— 0.1% granules.
To check the chemical composition of plates and strip of Nickel, obtained by cutting is allowed to take not less than 2% by weight of entire sheets or plates, prepared for cutting.
4.4 If unsatisfactory test results of at least one indicator, a second test of the doubled sample taken from the same batch. The results of repeated testing are spreading to the entire party.
Allowed the use of statistical control methods in accordance with GOST 18242 and GOST 20736.
5 control Methods
5.1 Sampling and sample preparation — according to GOST 24231 with the following additions.
Minimum mass of sample for analysis shall be not less than 0.5 kg.
From of cathode sheets with dimensions of the sides 500 mm samples were taken by drilling at five locations: the center and diagonally at a distance of three-quarters of poluvagonami from the city centre.
From of cathode sheets, with uncut and partially cut off the edge of the sample taken by drilling through in five places: in the center and diagonally at a distance of not more than 50 mm from sheet edges.
Plates and strips with sides of from 300 to 500 mm are allowed to be drilled at three points: in the center and two points on the edges, retreating from the edge arbitrarily to 50 mm. smaller pieces of leaves to drill in one point.
Point sample from granular Nickel are selected from each packaging sample units shovel, probe or other device that ensures the representativeness of the sample. Allowed to take samples of the granulated Nickel and ingots from molten metal and from the process container after drying granules with a sample of five spot samples according to the method of the envelope.
5.2 Chemical analysis carried out according to GOST 25086, 13047.1 GOST, GOST 13047.2, 13047.4 GOST, GOST 13047.6−13047.25 GOST, GOST 6012.
Allowed determination of the chemical composition of Nickel and all grades of other methods of equal precision given above.
In case of disagreement in assessing the quality of analysis carried out according to GOST 13047.1, 13047.2 GOST, GOST 13047.4, 13047.6 GOST-GOST 13047.25.
The chemical analysis results are rounded to the last character specified for the identified elements in table 2.
5.3 quality Control of Nickel for compliance with 3.6, 3.8 and 3.10−3.12 conduct an external inspection without the use of magnifying devices.
6 Transportation and storage
6.1 Nickel transporterowych all kinds of transport in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of each type.
Rail Nickel, packaged according to 3.14.1, transporterowych in covered wagons and universal containers according to GOST 18477. Primary Nickel is allowed to be transported in open rolling stock in specialized containers of type SK-1−3.4 MMU that needs to be sealed with the application of locking and sealing devices in accordance with the rules of sealing of cars and containers of rail transport.
For rail transport, the stowage and securing of specialized containers, packages, wooden Shaternik or metal of the barrels is carried out in accordance with the technical conditions of placing and fastening of cargoes in wagons and containers and GOST 22235.
6.2 Long-term storage of Nickel must be conducted indoors.
