3 Resolution of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for standardization and Metrology dated 19 October 1999 No. 353-St inter-state standard GOST 23782−96 introduced directly as state standard of the Russian Federation from July 1, 2000.
4 REPLACE GOST 23782−79
1 Scope
This standard specifies a method for determining the fractional composition of titanium sponge according to GOST 17746.
Method involves sieving the sample through a set of sieves, weighing the individual fractions and calculating their percentage.
2 Normative references
The present standard features references to the following standards:
GOST 3306−88 Grid with square cells from steel corrugated wire. Specifications
GOST 6613−86 Grids wire woven with square cells. Specifications
GOST 17746−96 spongy Titanium. Specifications
GOST 23780−96 spongy Titanium. Methods of sampling and sample preparation
3 General requirements
3.1 Sampling carried out in accordance with GOST 23780.
3.2 the Size of fractions is determined in accordance with GOST 17746.
4 measuring instruments and auxiliary devices
Drum noise with the angle of inclination of 3° — 5° and a rotation speed of 16−20 Rev/min.
Vibrating screen with tilt angle of 5° — 10° swing frequency 400−500 swings/min.
The mechanical scramblers:
— automatic sieve granulator of AGR-2, «Rotap», etc.
— sieves with wire meshes at 3306 GOST and GOST 6613.
— sieve sheet with square and round holes (Appendix A).
The periodicity of testing sieves — 200 definitions. Check to be not less than 30 of sieves, placed diagonally. If more than 10% of the tested holes have deviations in excess of 5% of the nominal size, the sieve for further use are unsuitable.
Technical scale with a relative error of weighing is not more than 0.1%.
Capacity of aluminum alloy, titanium or stainless steel for food storage screening, shovels, brushes.
5 procedures for measuring
5.1 determination of the mass fraction fractions of titanium sponge was carried out on a drum roar. Determination of the mass fraction fractions (12+5) mm and less hold on the drum or rumble or vibration on a mechanical shaker.
5.2 titanium Sponge served on the screening evenly, avoiding overloading of the sieves. The feed rate of titanium sponge on the drum screen (75±25) kg/min, the vibration — (30±10) kg/min.
5.3 the resulting sieving fractions of titanium sponge is placed in containers and weighed to the nearest 0.1%.
6 Processing of measurement results
6.1 the underflow and overflow samples, %, calculated by the formulas:
; (1)
, (2)
where , is the mass of the bottom and top product, respectively, kg;
— the total mass of all fractions obtained after sieving.
7 the Permissible error of measurement
The difference between parallel determinations of the appropriate fractions should not exceed 2 abs.%.
8 qualifications
To perform work under this standard allows technicians with qualification not below 3-rd category with III qualifying group with electrical.
