Production

Heat Treatment

One of the first steps in the work is the heat treatment of brass, which in terms of temperature of exposure may differ depending on the type of product and the type of the alloy itself. After annealing, the brass's hardness and corrosion resistance parameters increase significantly. After exposing the product to temperatures in the range of 250-300°C, transverse and longitudinal cracks can be prevented.

Pressure treatment

Most brass is quite well processed by pressure. Single-phase brasses are particularly ductile, and can be deformed at both quite low and very high temperatures. The peculiarity of brass pressure processing is that single-phase brass can be processed in a cold state, it has good plasticity but low strength. This brass is usually not machined in a hot state. Only two-phase brass with a high zinc content is hot workable.

General-purpose wire is made according to GOST 1066-90 of LS59-1 and LS6Z grades (chemical composition GOST 15 527-2004). Sampling for chemical composition control is regulated by state standard 242Z1-80. Cold deformation is usually used in production.

Krug LS59-1, L6Z, LS6Z-3Z, LS58-2 (GOST 2060-2006) must meet the chemical composition - GOST 15527-2004. Sampling for the control of chemical composition regulates GOST 242Z1-80.
