Ukrainian company Arcelor Mittal has set a record in steel production

The largest metallurgical enterprise in Ukraine Arcelor Mittal reported a record amount of melted steel. Over the past twelve months, the plant has produced seven million tons of steel. In a press-service of the Ukrainian company said that figure broke the record in 2008.

The report said: «From the beginning we knew that seven million tonnes of steel — a rather ambitious task. And all in the company, from the beginning of the year has made efforts to achieve the goal.»

The company representatives reminded that the past year was extremely difficult for the local industry. For Arcelor Mittal to achieve the intended results were worth the extraordinary effort. The company said about the ambitious plans for the future. By 2020 it is planned to pour into the company half a billion dollars. It is expected that the money will be used for the modernization of obsolete facilities. In addition, in the near future the company intends to begin construction of new plants within the plant.
