According to TU 14-131-987-2002, the chemical composition is presented for the alloy 42ХНМ-Ш, 42ХНМ-ВД. Permissible deviation by mass fraction of chromium is ± 0.050%. The alloy is introduced by the calculation of cerium in the range of 0.02-0.20% and magnesium in the range of 0.01-0.03% and is not determined by chemical analysis. In the alloy, the residual mass fraction of titanium is not more than 0.25%. Conduct a control of the mass fraction of nitrogen and cobalt in the alloy, the results of which are recorded in the certificate.
According to TU 14-1-5436-2001, the chemical composition is presented for the alloy grade 42HNM. Permissible deviation by mass fraction of chromium ± 0.50%. Cerium and magnesium are introduced into the alloy by calculation and chemical analysis are not determined. In the alloy, the mass fraction of titanium is not more than 0.25%. The mass fraction of nitrogen and cobalt is monitored and the results are recorded in the certificate.

Contamination of alloy, non-metallic inclusions on the other 14-131-987-2002 in the evaluation by the maximum score shall not exceed: - Oxides (OS, OF) - 1 point; - Silicates (SC, SP) - 1 point; - Sulphides (S) - 1 point; - Nitrides (NS, NT) - 3 points. Contamination of the alloy pipe at the 8009.00.001 THE 8009.00.002 TU TU 8009.00.022 and non-metallic inclusions in the assessment for a maximum score of inclusions, must not exceed: - oxygen stroke, oxygen globular (dot) and sulfides - 2 points each; the nitrides and carbonitrides - 2.5 points each.
