NATIONAL STANDARD FOR SOYBEANS SSR

CASTINGS MADE OF GREY CAST IRON

The permissible deviations in sizes and weight and machining allowances

GOST

1855−55

Instead, GOST 1855−45

Approved by the Committee of standards, measures and measuring devices under Council of Ministers of the USSR of 10 August 1955, the validity Period is set

with 01,01. 1956 to Q1.01. 1981

Non-compliance is punishable by law

1. This standard specifies three classes of manufacturing precision castings made of grey (including those modified) of cast iron and respectively three (class allowances on their mechanical processing, as well as the permissible deviations by mass.

2. The accuracy class is indicated in the drawing, casting (or drawing parts foundry in technological development) depending on the requirements of the part;, with various (classes of accuracy for different sizes of the same casting

I. PERMISSIBLE DEVIATIONS ON DIMENSIONS of CASTINGS

3. Permissible deviations on dimensions of the casting as a variable and not izmenyay machining set table. 1, 2 and 3 and the permissible deviations in the thickness of uncultivated walls and edges of the table. 4.

Note. Deviations in sizes and weight unique and for the first time mastering the casting is allowed to set by agreement of the parties.

Notes:

1. Local increase or decrease of the thickness of the machined walls or ribs of the casting are specified in the technical specifications.

2. At the request of the consumer may be increased to lower variance by reducing the top.

II.ALLOWANCES FOR MACHINING CASTINGS

4. The allowance for machining castings is the metal layer (on the side), intended for withdrawal in the 'machining process.

5. The machining allowances castings are set in accordance with accuracy class of their manufacture:

a) casting class I — tab. 5,

b) casting II class — table. 6,

C) casting class III — tab. 7.

By agreement of the parties is allowed to reduce the machining allowances shown in the tables, to the minimum necessary.

6. Under nominal size for establishing machining allowances you should understand the greatest distance between the opposing machined surfaces or the distance from the reference surface or axis (as indicated in the drawing of the casting or part) to the work surface.

7. Allowances that compensate for the warping, smoothing of the local recesses, protrusions and overlaps, creating a directional solidification 'of metal shall be installed by the manufacturer.

8. For machining cast atverti should be taken allowances from the table. 5, 6 and 7 (top or bottom, regardless of the location of the holes).
