The amendment is effective only on the territory of the Russian Federation.
(Changed edition, Rev. No. 1 Amendment).
1. BASIC PARAMETERS AND DIMENSIONS
1.1. Cylinders must be manufactured dvuhgolosyj in the following designs:
1 — with one neck with an internal thread, a threaded muted goujon (Fig.1);
2 with the inner thread (damn.2);
3 — with one neck with an internal thread, muffled by goujon, with the second neck with external threads and with flanges (Fig.3);
4 — with male threads and with flanges (Fig.4).
The customer is allowed to produce cylinders in versions 1 and 3 odnogolosyj with a spherical bottom, and in versions 3 and 4 without flanges or with flanges that come with the cylinders.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
1.2. Main parameters and sizes of cylinders in versions 1−4 should match those in hell.1−4 and in table.1.

2. Length odnogolosyj cylinders may be less than about 80 mm for cylinders with a volume 80−250 l and about 100 mm for cylinders with a volume of 320−1000 L.
3. Cylinders with a volume of 500 l is manufactured under agreement between manufacturer and user.
4. Weight of cylinders is specified without the weight of flanges.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
1.3. Limit deviations should not exceed specified: ±5% — by volume;
±1,75% of the outside diameter of the cylindrical part.
According to customer cylinders must be manufactured with extreme deviation in length ±2.5% instead of limitations.
1.4. According to customer cylinders must be manufactured with limitation by mass instead of volume limit. The mass of the cylinder to 1 liter actual volume shall not exceed nominal by more than 7%.
Example of designation of the balloon in the execution of 3 200 litres at a pressure of 31.4 MPa (320 kgf/cm) for air:
Cylinder for air 3−200−32 GOST 12247−80
However, in version 1, the limit mass for oxygen:
Air cylinders 1−200−32 M GOST 12247−80
Same, reduced in length, with the restriction on the length instead of the volume limit for nitrogen:
Cylinder nitrogen reduced length 1−200−32 L GOST 12247−80
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

2. Cylinders with two open necks of pneumatic tests at the factory are not subjected to.
3.2. When unsatisfactory results of testing of samples for tensile or impact strength, a second test of twice the number of samples taken from the same tube section — «witness» by referring to tests that showed a low result.
Results are unsatisfactory re-testing cylinders subjected to repeated heat treatment, and then re-test the mechanical properties. Allowed not more than two reheat treatments. Additional leave is not considered a re-heat treatment.
3.1, 3.2. (Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
