Excelsior Mining will build a copper mine in America

The canadian company plans to build a copper mine in the U.S. state of Arizona. Representatives of the Excelsior Mining reported that it received a construction permit from the authorities. Now we have to wait another approval of the project. It should provide EPA — Agency for environmental protection. This document is the canadian company expects to receive at the end of 2017. Representatives of the canadian company is encouraged by the new prospects. Over the last decade, Gunnison will be the first opened mine of copper in the state. Before that, even in the middle of the two thousandth, such a permission was granted by the Polish company KGHM Polska Miedz. However, the Carlota mine built by the company, to date, not functioning.
Excelsior plans to launch enterprise in the first months of 2019. Some data concerning the project was provided by the Chairman of the Board of Excelsior mark Morabito. The cost of the project is approximately $ 46.9 million. At the initial stage the mine will be able to put about 12 thousand tons of concentrate copper per year. Gradually, however, the performance of the Gunnison will increase. The final figure will amount to 56 thousand tons of copper concentrate per year. Its development will occur in the enterprise Excelsior nearby.
The promise of the project at the moment, no doubt. Such confidence is based on the data provided by the Chilean Ministry of mining. In 2017 the average cost of metal has increased substantially. Due to increased demand from China it is projected at 5819 dollars per ton on the London stock exchange. The forecast is based on the results of this year.
