The agreement between the companies TMK and "Yamal LNG" concluded

TMK (TMK), one of the main suppliers of pipes for oil and gas, has signed a long term agreement with the «Yamal LNG», the effect of which will be in the 2014−2020 year. According to preliminary calculations during this period of «Yamal LNG» requirement of the enterprise in the pipe premium products will be 48 thousand tons. Agreement has entered into force, as part of the agreement, the first shipments were made to the Seversky Pipe and Taganrog metallurgical enterprises in April of this year.

In total, the volume of production, which is scheduled to deliver to enterprises TMK Company «Yamal», is about 12 thousand tons of tubing and casing with connections TMK UP FMT, TMK UP FMC, TMK UP PF cold-resistant performance, funnels and subs. Also Seversky and Taganrog enterprises will be involved in shipments Orsk Plant, Volzhsky plant for the production of pipes and Pipe Metallurgical Plant «Kaztrubprom».

The beginning of cooperation between the «Yamal» and TMK was initiated in 2012, since when the TMK won the tender for the supply of tubular products with premium threaded connections for «Yamal», and the number of shipments amounted to an average of 3 thousand tons of products. Last year, the volume of shipments for «Yamal LNG» has increased to 7000 tonnes. Now the company «Yamal LNG» and its shareholders, oil company Total (France) and «NOVATEK», the project implements the steps aimed at the development of gas and condensate South Tambeyskoye field (north-east of the Yamal Peninsula).

Among other things, the contract indicates the complete trust on the part of «Yamal LNG «and a kind of quality mark for premium tubular goods manufactured TMK, confirming the possibility of using it in the Far North oil Field.
