Description
Alloy MA20 is used: for the manufacture of semi-finished products (sheets, plates, bars, rods, profiles, strips, tubes, wire, stampings and forgings) by hot deformation, as well as ingots and slabs intended for the production of welded details with complex geometric shapes, long-working temperature up to +150 °C and for short periods up to +200 °C.
Note
Alloy brand MA20 has medium strength, high ductility, good weldability and corrosion resistance, is not prone to stress corrosion cracking.

Mg is the basis.
According to GOST 14957-76 the mass fraction of other impurities is ≤ 0.30%. "Other impurities" include impurities whose permissible content limits are not indicated (≤), as well as impurities not included in the table, the content of which is not determined. Beryllium is not determined, but is introduced by calculation.
