Nickel NP4

Designation

Name The value
Designation GOST Cyrillic НП4
Designation GOST Latin HP4
Transliteration NP4
The chemical elements NiП4

Description

Nickel NP4 is used: for the manufacture of semi-finished products (wire, ribbons, sheets, strips) used in instrument making and mechanical engineering; joints of sheet structures with thickness more than 6.0 mm, working with radioactive environment; tape thickness of 0.05−2.0 mm, used in electronics and other industries.

Standard C S Mn Si Ni Fe Cu Mg Ni+Co
GOST 492-2006 ≤0.1 ≤0.015 ≤0.2 ≤0.15 The rest ≤0.3 ≤0.15 ≤0.1 ≥99
Ni is the basis.
According to GOST 492-2006, the total mass fraction of impurities is ≤ 1.0%. Due to the mass fraction of nickel, the mass fraction of cobalt in the amount of ≤ 0.60% is allowed.
