5Х3Н12Г5 steel is used: for the manufacture of various components of magnetic and other special instruments instrumentation in cases where ferromagnetic materials cannot be applied, as they affect the accuracy of readings; parts electrical machinery and apparatus; compass housings.
Note
Nickelmania non-magnetic austenitic high-alloy steel.
Steel after rapid cooling in water to 600 °C becomes fully non-magnetic.
