Description

03Х19АГ3Н10 steel is used: for the production of equipment parts in the chemical industry (equipment for the production of weak nitric acid, ammonium nitrate); elements of cryogenic engineering; vessels and equipment in the chemical and power engineering sectors; for connections of equipment installed in radioactive environments and do not come in contact with aggressive environment and repair welds.

Note

Steel low carbon austenitic.
Steel 03Х19АГ3Н10 can replace steel 03Х18Н11, ensuring the reduction of metal consumption by 20% and increasing the structural strength of 1.5 times.

Technological properties

Name The value
Weldability Manual arc welding with coated electrodes. For repair of welded joints of NPP equipment and the same applies to manual arc welding with non-consumable electrode (filler or without filler material), and allowed the use of manual arc welding with coated electrodes. Steel welded 03Х19АГЗН10 manual argon-arc welding, using a welding wire brand SV-01Х18Н10. To ensure the uniformity of the welded joint and base metal, use wire grade SV-03Х21Н10АГ5. Recommended welding conditions: current, 130-150 A; arc voltage of 18-20 V; number of passes is determined by the thickness of the rolled or pipes. Weld steel 03Х19АГЗН10 not susceptible to intergranular corrosion and knife when operating in oxidizing environments.
Pressure treatment 03Х19АГЗН10 steel has a high ductility during hot and cold deformation. Hot deformation is carried out in the interval 1150-900 °C.
Microstructure In the hardened condition the steel has a structure with a small amount of α-phase (up 0.5 points). It does not undergo structural transformations when heated to temperatures hot plastic deformation and cooling to -196 °C. Long-term operation of steel at temperatures above 450 °C is not recommended, as in the temperature range 450-650 °C at the grain boundaries of austenite highlighted the chromium carbides of the type М23С6 that promotes intergranular corrosion.
Features of heat treatment Steel products intended for use in aggressive environments and can be tempered, annealed. To ensure high corrosion resistance and an optimal combination of strength and plasticity of steel products are subjected to hardening from 1050-1100 °C and cooled in water or air. The holding time at the heating for hardening to products with a wall thickness up to 10 mm - 30 min, over 10 mm - 20 min + 1 min per 1 mm maximum thickness. In order to remove residual stresses resulting from the plastic deformation and welding, and also prevent warpage and stress corrosion cracking products is subjected to annealing at 870-900 °C, exposure time of 2-3 h, cooling with the furnace to 300 °C (speed of 50-100 °C/h), then - on the air.
Corrosion resistance Steel needs to be a stand against intergranular corrosion. 03Х19АГЗН10 steel has high resistance against corrosion cracking in environments containing chloride ions, and successfully replaces steel 08KH18N10T.
