Ni is the basis.
According to TU 14-1-2131-77 the chemical composition is given for the alloy grade KhN40MDB-VI (EP937-VI). The content of niobium in the alloy should be in the range of 15С ÷ 0.8%. Cerium, boron are introduced into the metal by calculation and chemical analysis is not determined. It is allowed to introduce yttrium, the estimated content of which in the range of 0.005-0.10% is established by the supplier's technological instructions and its residual content in the metal is not determined by chemical analysis. In the finished metal, deviation in the silicon content by +0.10%, nitrogen by +0.010%, aluminum by +0.10% is allowed.
