2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. The foil must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.

Foil made from gold, silver and their alloys chemical composition according to GOST and GOST 6835 6836.

Foil roll are made of gold grades Of 99.99 PLN; PLN of 99.9 and silver grades Of 99.99 MS; MS to 99.9.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

2.2. Foil manufactures in the untreated condition.

2.3. Foil surface should be clean, smooth, without the captured, bubbles, cracks, stratifications and traces of grease.

Allowed local darkening, color tint and light prints from the rolls, and light waviness and traces of mild kinks on the surface of the foil. On the foil with thickness less than 0.03 mm permitted small isolated holes that are visible against light when they stroke locations, and local clusters.

2.4. The foil should be trimmed evenly. The ends of the coils should be free of dents and nicks.

2.5. Foil roll thickness is less than 0.050 mm is wound on a metal sleeve.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Foil present to the acceptance of the parties. The party should consist of a foil of the same size, the same brand of alloy, melting the same and to be furnished by a single document about quality that contains:

trademark or the name and trademark;

brand metal or alloy;

the size of the foil;

chemical composition;

batch number;

the net weight of the batch, g;

the designation of this standard;

stamp of technical control of the manufacturer.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

3.2. Control surfaces and sizes is carried out on each coil or 25% of the leaves of the party, but no less than five sheets.

3.2. Checks weight of each packing unit is held in the balance of the 3rd accuracy class according to GOST 24104* in accordance with the order of receipt, expenditure, accounting and storage of precious metals and precious stones at enterprises, institutions and organizations, approved by the USSR Ministry of Finance.
________________
* From 1 July 2002 was put into effect GOST 24104−2001.

(Added, Rev. N 1).

3.3. Determination of chemical composition of alloys in accordance with the requirements of GOST and GOST 6835 6836 spend on one roll or one sheet from the party.

The manufacturer determines the chemical composition of the sample taken from each heat.

3.4. If unsatisfactory validation results of at least one of the indicators for him a second check for twice the number of sheets and rolls of foil selected from the same batch.

The results of repeated checks apply to the entire party.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. The width and length of the foil (sheets) to measure metal ruler according to GOST 427, thickness measured with a micrometer according to GOST lever 4381.

The thickness of the foil in the coil is measured at a distance of not less than 100 mm from the end of the roll and not less than 10 mm from the edge.

The thickness of the foil sheets is measured at a distance of not less than 25 mm from the vertex of the angle and not less than 15 mm from the edge. Measurement shall be both ends.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).

4.2. The surface quality of the foil is determined by visual inspection without the use of magnifying devices.

4.3. Determination of the chemical composition is carried out according to GOST 27973.0−27973.3 GOST, GOST 28353.0−28353.3 GOST, GOST 16321.1, 16321.2 GOST, GOST 17234, 17235 GOST, GOST 22864 or other methods providing the required accuracy. Sampling for chemical analysis is carried out according to GOST 24231.

If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition chemical composition is determined by GOST 27973.0−27973.3 GOST, GOST 28353.0−28353.3 GOST, GOST 16321.1, 16321.2 GOST, GOST 17234, 17235 GOST, GOST 22864.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
