Description
35ХМФА steel is used: for the manufacture of forgings of various parts of General machinery; shafts, connecting rod, fasteners, pipe joints, operating at temperatures up to 400 °C.

According to TU 108.1273-84, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 35XMFA. Deviations in chemical composition are allowed: by carbon ± 0.010%, for silicon + 0.050 / -0.020%, for manganese ± 0.050%, for chromium ± 0.050%, for molybdenum ± 0.020%, for vanadium ± 0.020%.
According to TU 14-1-3238-81 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 35ХМФА. For steel grade 35ХМФА-СШ the content S≤0,015%.
