10Х2МФБ steel is used: for the production of slabs; details of machinery; electrodes for welding of critical structures, parts of boilers and steam pipes of alloyed steels homemadepoundcakerecipes type ЭИ531 and similar, operating at temperatures up to +575 °C.

According to TU 14-1-3119-81 for steel grade 10X2MFB, deviations in chemical composition are allowed: for carbon -0.010%, for molybdenum ± 0.050%, for vanadium ± 0.050%. The content of impurities of non-ferrous metals (tin, arsenic, lead, zinc, antimony, bismuth) should not exceed the 1 st point of a ten-point scale of spectral analysis. The content of residual elements in steel should be in accordance with GOST 5632.
