Features of production |
Steel is produced in the form of sheets with thickness of 0.2-4 mm. in not annealed condition with a mediocre magnetic properties. High magnetic properties (permeability, saturation induction, etc.) the material acquires as a result of special heat treatment, which is a slow heating to 900 °C, prolonged exposure (2-4 hours) and slow cooling (not more than 40 °C per hour) to 600 °C. To prevent oxidation of the material of the entire cycle is either in a protective environment, protecting the metal from oxidation, or in the active medium (nitrogen + hydrogen), leading to further purification of steel from impurities. In the result of heat treatment, in addition to cleaning the material there is an increase in the size of individual crystal grains, reducing the number of grains per unit volume and consequently improving the magnetic properties of the material. |
